I was amazed to find out how popular The Presets are in Australia. Americans would never accept a song like this as Top 40, too dark, loud, and complex. Thank god we live in an age where we can get music from other countries, I'd die if I was stuck with only music from the USA.

An added layer to that is that this song was actually a protest song against the Howard (Prime Minister of Australia at the time) government's harsh stance against refugee intake... listen to the lyrics and you'll get the picture.

These artists deserve more credit in my opinion. Some of their songs a re meaningful unlike some other modern ones. Its a good song with a funky electro beat but so unpopular in these times due to new bands and people popping up everywhere. I guess you have to listen to songs old and young and whatever in between to see what you like, but these guys deserve more credit to their work.

They got a lot of credit internally within Australia, but I don’t know how popular they were in other countries, but judging by other comments, they probably were never mainstream. I know for sure they were mainstream here in the mid to late 2000s. This song was playing on the radio here in Australia nonstop during that time.

My son was born in 2008, and i remember singing this to him one night. I was super tired and needed something to cheer me up. Lol, not the typical lullaby i’m sure.

I heard this song for the first time yesterday at work and put it on a loop and was jamming out and my coworkers wanted to know what I was dancing to.

Fuckin oath this was on the radio every damn minute during the late 2000's.

The bridge in this song is fucking amazing, especially when the bass comes back in at 2:48. Sounds absolutely mental through a good speaker system.

The Black Eyed Peas brought me here. Will.i.am spoke about how The Presets were very inspiring and energetic and hence, instrumental in his music direction and sound in the year 2009.
