Most complained about about music taking over engine sound, but I say the video is amazingly composed, the shooting angle and technique has professional touch

Thank you so much! Most of people dont understand that while filming onboard fast moving boat the only sound I can get is wind blowing in microphone. With only Canon DSLR it is impossible to get engine sound in that speed.

Top speed is something like 40-43mph (65-70kmh) (GPS). Its all about props, weather, temperature, moon location and distance from earth to sun :D

Where is too much post production? At the beginning? I think that the post-production is more than just cutting. And as I said for Dave, I dont have good microphone. In original footage you can only hear the wind becouse this vid waa filmed onboard a real boat. Thanks for comment. :)

37-38 knots. MHZ Hunter is "semi-scale" and is not suitable for higher speeds. Of course you can drive it almost 60 knots like Powerpete do, but I believe it is not funny anymore. Scale boats are for cruising, not for racing. Check out youtube channel "Powerpete2", there is video called "MHZ Hunter Pier 57 Electric". Powerpete has 5kW raw power there :D

great looking Boat, to bad there is no sound of it, just the short idling

if you are still looking for 5 blade metal props you can look at bonzi sports they have many props and ship all over the place.

I use 2 -15kg cm servos for steering, 6719 4 blade prop, and modified K30 engine. I am now getting 45 mph straight as an arrow, turn at full speed left but I cannot do right turns unless I slow down to 1/5 speed.

Oh and I still have a dream.. to build MHZ Mystic (94,5") with two Jetcat turbines. Miss Geico color scheme, working lights and doors and trailer & truck. Then I want to make new video, it would be awesome. It is just too expensive and I need many sponsors for that. Like MHZ, Jetcat etc.

Johny, I love this video. Subscribed. I have a question for you sir. I have a CRCH 58" fountain with a Z drive as well but I have problems turning right only it hooks right badly but never on a left turn. What servo or servos and prop are you using?  if you were to use a single Z drive would you hang it with the bulb POINT of your Z drive in line with the keel, above the keel or below the keel? Mine is in line with the keel. I would really appreciate any answer you can give me.

Bonzi sports makes a 5 blade prop.

How to make your boat make twice as much noise at the lake? Chase it with another boat! Pretty impressive either way!

Maybe you dont see where this vid was filmed? Yeah...Onboard moving boat. Only thing you could hear is wind. I dont have ultimate professional microphone.
