I've always been conflicted about prayer because I live alone. I just include Jesus, God Father and the Spirit in what I'm doing during the day. Church has us get in groups and couples. Sometimes we just prayed along with the pastor. Today's message is so clear. We only have to follow Jesus's prayer life. Thank you Pastor Charles Stanley for this valuable 🙏message !

Amen..I begin and end my day with prayer. Nothing better than starting my day speaking with my Lord telling him how much I love and appreciate him.

I am meticulous and methodical with my grooming in the morning. I have to "clothe" myself in prayer before I do anything; more important than my grooming. I can face the day after praying. I appreciate but don't need the texts and memes of friends. I need JESUS. Dr. Stanley is so right. The Lord listens and is always there. For that I say "Thank You Lord!"

I've cried myself to sleep on my bedroom floor while praying to the Father, a few times.. He's such a good listener. I love you, Lord!! He's answered my prayers right before my very eyes. And answered prayers I've never prayed only thought of. Gratitude overflows my heart for all He does for me. He is so so precious to me and helps me so much in my life. I owe Him Everything. 🌹✝️❣️When He doesn't answer my prayer, truly know it's for the best for me...I love Him sO much! 💗 God Bless each of you!! Thanks for sharing! 💙

I had both of my knees replaced, but before I did I asked the Lord how could I continue to show my respect to Him when I could no longer be on my knees. I believe He put on my heart and mind to cover my head during prayer time. This would show my respect without the pain and cramps. So this is what I have been doing for years now. And God does hear my prayers, He does answer them, not always the way I would like, but in time I have learned through reading His Word why His way is better.

Lisa Duke That’s not true. God does speak to you, the problem is getting quiet enough to hear Him. I’ve been a follower of Jesus Christ for fourteen years and I just learned how to listen to God. He will speak, you just have to listen.

I am scared and angry! This Covid thing is in its 3rd year. How many have been praying for an end to this? The Bible says, ASK and it shall be given to you. Lord, what IS your will in this?!?!?! What is Your purpose of this?!?!?! PLEASE HELP US!!!!!! END THIS PLAGUE and restore people back to health! PLEASE!!!!!

This is something I am really having to work on because when I first wake up my brain is non functional for about 45 minutes. I hate that about myself.

@@purple7vi0let I don't hate myself. Just the fact of how zombified I am when I first wake up. I'm one of those people who doesn't want to hear any noise or talking when they wake up and doesn't want to do any talking.

It was easy for Jesus to pray He knew how to He was God in the flesh. but for me its it don't work no matter how much i cry out and beg God to teach me how to pray to Him He never answer or helps me so why not give up it seems like no matter how much i want to put God first and i know He see that in my heart so why dont He talk to me

Lisa Duke do not give up please! The Word also says: “Be still and wait on the Lord.” Read the Psalms as a prayer - out of your heart then you will se how calm and inspiring it becomes. And that is a start. Be strong and keep on!

Lisa Duke I think you expect maybe a wrong sense of communication from God. Remember the Word of God is his Words for you in the first place. When you you really know the Bible then you will know what God wants from you. Start reading Scripture. I do not know how well you know the Bible - but start reading every morning a short part. I personally read the psalms a lot- that reflects my emotions and interaction towards God many times. Also start reading the gospels and then later read the rest. But you need to calm down. Maybe you can find a ttustworthy pastor around and go and ask him to help you on your path. I will pray for you and you should keep talking to God - just keep on talking.. stay well!

And im always the one doing all the talking when all i want to do is shut up and like God talk but when i do try and be still my mind never stays focus on Him so i start to talking again and that frustrates me because i know i will never have a relationship with Him if it's one-sided. The first step is to ask Jesus for forgiveness of sins and ask Him to come into your heart !!! Then He will surely listen and help you in every way; sometimes you have to quiet your heart and thoughts and the Holy Spirit will reveal to you the ways in which He he has helped you. I have a question this is off topic from the vedio. When the Believers die does the spirit go to heaven to be with God? And our body's stay in the graves untill the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ? When Jesus comes the Believers Rise Up from the grave to meet up with Jesus in the clouds and be transformed? 2 Corinthians 5:8 Absent from the body and present with the Lord. I'm a little confused about this. Can you please help me understand it better. If I got it right or not?

As soon as I addressed a priest to the creed, "prostrate to hell," he corrected me, "Jesus was never in hell!"? In no speech is the Sermon on the Mount ever mentioned, therefore there is always violence in all countries, because the replacement of the Old Testament involves the turning point. An eye for an eye ... in the Sermon on the Mount is replaced by 'love thy neighbor as thyself', and the power of the devil was limited to temptation.

Do I pray to God or to Jesus? Because people all over are praying to Jesus? I don't know and am confused.

Only way repent and be saved by Christ act 11:14-18 follow the original teaching of Gospel tradition this is only truth of the life John 10:1+6!
