Is this one of the most underrated games in recent college football history? Yes, everyone remembers the miracle, but the game as a whole is not appreciated like Alabama vs Auburn 2013 is.

@@eastondebolt5569 Without this, Alabama would automatically won the West Division, making the Iron Bowl have less stakes. Remember, Auburn had lost to LSU earlier that season so they needed to win this game and beat Bama to win the division, win the SEC, and get to the national title game

This game started one of the wildest ends to a season ever.

This brings back so many memories! My dad is a Georgia fan and I am Auburn... we were watching the game at his house... my son was about 3 at the time. When this happened dad and I were screaming so loud we scared my poor kiddo!

The 2013 Auburn football team will go down as one of the luckiest football teams ever.

I mean, they had a lucky hail Mary, and a crazy ending to a tied game against the #1 team. But that one was no more lucky than, say, a punt return for a touchdown to win. But everything else was legitimate. All the way down to taking the lead in the NC with 2 minutes left.

Honestly after watching that replay over and over I don’t think he got in. You can’t see if his knee was down for sure, but the ball was in his right hand and it sure looked like his knee very well could have been down before it crossed the plane. Either way it was still very close.

Sammy Coats and Ricardo Louis played so well that day. Loved the game!! War Eagle!!!

What I didn't remember was how good of a game Ricardo Louis had overall for someone getting their first start.

I’m not an auburn fan or a fan of any team in the SEC for that matter but this play was absolutely insane. Gets me so hype

We thought nothing would beat this finish that year, then the Iron Bowl happened two weeks later.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuburned!

I walked out of the stadium after Georgia scored their last touchdown because I was so pissed. When I got back to the tailgate, the stadium erupted.

Love seeing all the salty Georgia fans. War damn

If Auburn had better DBs this would have not been close..Johnathon Mincy is example one....couldnt cover grandma with a blanket. That last hit on Murray was awesome...they just ran out on the field and was like stomping on himas he was down...and shaking hands

Holland was garbage too.

The completely lost art of knocking the ball to the ground. 4th down and trying to intercept the ball, just forgotten fundamentals that used to be a core of the game. And they not only tipped it, but managed to tip it into a perfect spiral. One of the ugliest losses ever, but topped by Bama the very next game at Jordan Hare.

I remember Murray was predicted to be the greatest QB the NFL had seen in a while. If that ship sailed, it didn't get very far.
