Never been into caravans until I saw an airstream, I think they are beautiful.

Air Streams are expensive. But they last forever! I'm not sure I would buy one. I'm from the United States and I'm envious of A LOT of European designs. Wish we had your options.

Swift also put the leaks in, free of charge 🤪

One think i dont like about airsteam is the alluminuim desing in the summer the sun kill the alluminum and it very hot inside !

The inside of this caravan looks nothing like the Airstreams available in America nor does it reflect the quality of workmanship of U.S. Airstreams. While this gentleman said Swift installs electrical bits and such, It appears to me that Swift receives empty Airstream shells from the US, and installs the interiors themselves. Have a look at the the walkthrough videos on Colonial Airstream's youtube channel.

Why do Airstreams get cool names in other countries but in the US where they are made they just get a letter and number like 23CB?

Love the look of the van but not the 1970’s kitchen style plastic cupboard doors.

Why do they cost SO much more in UK than in the US?

The Americans! WOW great presentation. In not sure if this unit in the US is called a BAMBI like the deer. The names the UK trailers have are awesome though. They're named after beautiful places. Ok thanks and Cherio!

Love everything except the checkerd curtains and checkerd pillows, they are too plain and dull for this beautiful interior.

It's a real piece of Americana..

On the road true travel trailer the Airstream can't beat. They will survive years after others are in junkyard.

Have a gently used airstream in the US following what's happening in the UK market for when I eventually return. This model is nearly the price of a small terraced house, over priced and feels unfinished. Really dislike the colour scheme, red and brown and the red painted overhead cabinets and cheap looking plastic slide doors and then the disconnected bathroom colours. I have a nicer finish in my 2012 model. Airstream and swift you can do better!

The Swift bit does put me off a little. They produce caravans at 1 every 23 minutes I'm told. I think paying around £80k for a van with Swift somewhere on it I don't like.

You are wrong that if someone wants an Airstream they will pay the price. I was going to buy from the previous dealers but the price for the twin axle has gone up by appox £20,000, I cant justify £100,000 with that spec and and US quality.

Well just let me tell you something if those airstream travel trailers were sold in the US they would go for sale at 40 000 euros and again....I just can not believe the profit made by Airstream Germany and then by their "official"dealerships in France and in the UK. First no interior grey water tank, an only 45 liters (yes 45 liters!!) fresh water tank, a cassette toilet which needs to be cleaned every single day, then shall we talk about the bathroom size (a real joke) but if it was only those little things...No......Airstream Germany, France and UK give you a base airstream price at first but then the fun only start : they add the shipping cost USA-Germany, then the shipping fees from Germany to France or UK, then the big big profit only really start : "Why not asking customers to pay for :" Televisons (they are included in the US ones), you love that corian counter top in the kitchen, well don't dream about it any longer, the one they show you is an option, you like it you pay for it, then what about that great steel sink? you like it again....hey hey wait a minute it is an option again...open your wallet! You want the only single dee zip awning they offer, well option again while that awning is always included in the US models price! one AC is an option also, you got no fantastic fans...don't dream about those you see with rain sensor on some US airtsream walk throught videos...Europe will only get them in 20 years time (as usual) but the worst of the worst they want you to pay a lot again for that package you will really need to use your travel trailer..and that package include of course the outside grey waste water tank...at the end for their euopean Airstream" 684" you ll arrive at 150 000/ 160 000 euros while a 30' CLASSIC US travel trailer with real wood cabinets, 2 televisions, huge water tanks (grey, fresh and black), real toilet, awnings everywhere, corian counter tops, etc...etc...will cost you 80 000 euros. Knowing that the CLASSIC model is the most luxuous one from Airstream..so where is the joke, how come Airstream USA let those people in Germany making so much profit?? Let me tell you something it gives a really bad image about the company and I really hope that Airstream in the US will so something about that and stop all those ridiculous options the europeans play with to gain more money!

there's a big market you are forgetting about... how about the disabled person who needs say a lift.. I looked at this caravan and these no way I can get my wheelchair in there.. or actually live in it.. come on folks start thinking outside the box for once

sweet68pea i ask similar questions about tiny houses. I had both knees replaced. Trouble going up and down steps. If i needed a wheelchaire couldnt get through the door. All these tiny houses have lofts. I posted on fyi channel and diy channel. Why dont they make tiny houses for peoplevwith disabilities.
