When we look towards the cross, we remember the sacrifice Jesus's paid on that cross for the Sins of the world.on the cross Jesus defeated death, reconciled God with man and gave us the gift of salvation

why can we look to him? Why are we saved and going to heaven? Why are our sins forgiven? Why can god extend mercy and grace to us? Why does god bless us? Why do we have available the Holy Spirit and the fruits of it ? Why do we have healing and say by the STRIPES of Jesus you are healed? All because Jesus Christ died on a cross for us and saved humanity and all those things mentioned above are the by product of that event its faith in Christ and what he did at the cross for us .. the story of the whole bible is about Jesus and him coming to die for us what was the reason god sent his son? To be a perfect sacrifice for us that we might be saved thru faith in what his son did for us at the cross so no looking past the cross is the stupidest thing a saved person can do Paul said for the preaching of the cross is to them that parish foolishness but to us which are saved it is the POWER of God! Glory to god I feel that in my spirit when we plead The blood of Jesus that's only possible because of the cross men fell and we owed a debt to God and Jesus Christ paid it in FULL at the cross look to what he did at the cross keep your faith in what he did at the cross it's where our salvation was bought and simply faith in that is why we are saved I can go on all day and night but believe me we need to be looking towards the cross and not away from it

1) The cross (+)/cursed tree (Acts 10:39, 13:29, Gal. 3:13 symbolises ALL the sins of the world that brought extreme sufferings on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and where he meted his death -- the sword like (+) weaponry of the world that killed/murdered the LORD JESUS CHRIST. 2) The cross/cursed tree is also a graven image that summed up ALL the graven images used as objects of worship by the idolatrous world. 3) The CROSS of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is his own SUFFERINGS/ENDURANCE and DEATH which were inherent in his MORTAL BODY/FLESH and BONES/BLOOD. 4) The CROSS of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and the cross (+)/cursed tree/sins of the world are two conflicting forces that struggled against the other. 5) If the LORD JESUS CHRIST succumbed to SUFFERINGS before he could be nailed and died on the cross (+)/cursed tree, then there's no REDEMPTION for mankind -- no RESURRECTION/SALVATION/ETERNAL LIFE in the KINGDOM of GOD.

You work out your salvation by constantly depending on God, following Him daily, trusting him everyday of our lives, became some folks believe that once you are saved, you are saved forever and they go back to their old patterns. I was a Muslim and then Jesus saved me, so everyday now, I have to work in His accountability, following His guidelines reading mu bible and trusting the Holy Spirit for the meaning. Let me know if it makes sense sir?

There is no power in a graven image (the cross). Yahawashi (so called Jesus) hates this symbol, which was created by the Catholic Church. So stop wearing it, buying it and most of all stop blessing yourself with the cross.
