The Power Of The Blood Of Jesus, By Evangelist Billy Graham
The essence of sacrifice is in the shedding of blood. That’s the reason why our ancestors in the faith had to make animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of their sins. The issue was that no one was able to fulfill the law, so God had an idea.
God’s idea was to send his only begotten son Jesus to the world, to save the world. The only way that Jesus would be able to save the world was that he would have to die, not only that but he had to live a perfect life that mankind were unable to live, to die a death that we were not worthy of.
On Golgotha, our Lord and savior Jesus died for us. His precious, innocent, holy blood was shed. He died for our sins. The story didn’t stop there, he had to go to hell; evangelize to the saints that died before and get back the keys. He resurrected after 3 days; meaning he defeated death. Many people witnessed his resurrection and he ascended back to the father. Now, his promise is that he’s coming back for his bride; the church.
John 3:16 states “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. “ Our righteousness is in Christ, he made a way for us to go to heaven. Jesus’s story is the gospel of reconciliation. He reconciled our relationship back with the father. We must repent of our sins and live a holy life because he is coming for those that are ready.
He left the helper the Holy Spirit; he is the spirit of truth. He will guide us into all truth. Please, you that is reading this please get serious with God. He’s not looking for you to be perfect but he’s looking for a willing heart that will submit and realize that they need Jesus.
