I am a Reiki practitioner and have been for many years. When I was initiated I was taught that when we practice Reiki we are channelling energy. However, I've long held the belief that this is a limited and limiting view of what really occurs in a Reiki session. I am now more convinced that ever that we channel information. The so called reactions which can be detected is only a physical manifestation and not the principle method by which change occurs. The real work being done does not happen on the physical level. When an effect is produced physically, this is in fact, a secondary indicator of changes which happened within the non-physical aspects of being.

I think the *Reiki Effect* may be a function of entrainment predicated on sympathetic resonance insofar as the coherence of the subtle energy transmitted by the practitioner entrains the healee via the coherent information field he or she establishes/forms in the healing space.🍃❣🍃

I think I understand what you're saying. But to add another component to your experience, do you believe that those involved in the growth process must first be linked in some regard? In other words, what you suggest is between the Reikian practitioners and clients. What about others who may have a connection from work, or acquaintances? Humans are constantly evolving, and new paths are always opening to those seeking their own self awareness to their greatest creation of being. (I'm thinking out loud here, so apologies if I'm not making sense.)

If it was only energy then the patient's consciousness would use the energy producing more of the same because their consciousness wouldn't change. There would have to be information, and the patient's consciousness would also have to shift. If energy is going through a practitioner, then it is picking up that practitioner's information? The practitioner would have to be health? I'm thinking out loud. Or, does the practitione'rs intention to heal produce the proper information for the energy such that even if the practitioner had a particular disease, the patient would still heal?

my process for becoming more "love" is intention on compassion, attention to action, retention of lessons learned.

Here is the deal, we are not the human body. We are the eternal Spirit that incarnates into the body to experience life in the physical. We are the eternal Spirt, and where does it come from? Our eternal Spirit is a part of Source. After Source created the Universe, it wanted to experience it, but as Source is too energetically powerful, it could not fit itself into the dense matter of the physical plane. In order to do so, Source broke parts of itself off and then further divided the parts off into smaller portions, that were finally small enough energetically, to fit into dense matter. Those small enough portions are us, the eternal Spirit. That is why we have "soul group" as we are a smaller portion of that smaller portion of Source. As we are parts of Source, we have the same abelites that Source has, that is why we can access the Akashic records, that is why our intention can cause healing and how we can create our reality, because we are parts of Source, and we have all the abilities that Source has. When we incarnated into flesh we forget who we really are, because the flesh acts as the veil and causes us to forget. That is whey when people have out of body experiences, their abilities are heightened, because the body filter is no longer limiting their true nature. REMEMBER who you are, you are not human, you are Spirit, which is part of Source, and as such you have all the abilities Source has. You are just a shard or fractal part of Source, a smaller version. Our consciousness is the Spirit, which is connected to Source and has access to all the information that Source has access to.

I see everything related to energy - life's force. Data only verifies, or does not.

I’m not sure what documentary or what channel or show posted it but there is a hospital in Japan with no medicine! I saw this, the doctors sit around a patient on a hospital bed or operating table and picture/visualize the person in question getting better and on the monitor I saw the tumor shrink out of sight - I channel thru Visual Art, (painting/drawing), and I have quantified over and over again the power of CONSCIOUSNESS - Now I don’t channel for a living nor do I channel consistently. I have said all this before and here on Jeffrey’s - Dr. Mishlove’s show, Unlike a palm reader or “mystic” I have a PICTURE TO BACK UP MY FINDINGS! - EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING IS THE RESULT OF CONSCIOUSNESS, at the local and or at the SUM TOTAL level of BEING - this is not a metaphorical thing - We you and I are soooo ANIMATED WE/I HAVE LOST, GIVEN UP OUR CONSCIOUS STATE OF BEING TO THE APPLE IPHONE AND ORGANIZED RELIGION - ORGANIZED RELIGION WORSHIPS SEGREGATED, “gods”. "Energy" is just shorthand for a mechanism we have yet to discover, though a (very) few have discovered the effects, and how to access it. Some seem to be suggesting an effect on the field in which we live, much like the idea that Warp Speed is actually changing the space around the spaceship in order to travel at the speed of light.

The "intelligence" is the innate intelligence by and through which we are born. When healthy, we resonate with this field, but when we are dis-eased, we are out of resonance. Health is a resonance phenomena, no matter the organism

i thought about Wim Hof a lot during this interview. the power we have to control each cell to correct conduct. Wim Hof is a VER VERY interesting being, generous sharing being whos taken the task to cientifically investigate and spread his knowledge....it aligns with this information...

Wouldn’t “godlings” be akin to the belief that we are children of god and created in his image that christian scripture speaks of?

I read last year that the pharmaceutical companies are trying to come up with some way of weeding out the placebo effect from their studies, I'm assuming because they would prefer that people not realize that they actually are able to self-heal, as this would, if it took hold, pretty much negate the need for their product at all. It was not specified just how they intended to do this, so I have no clue. But what I found telling was....if these companies are truly searching for a 'cure' for things, as they promote in their constant requests for funding, etc.....doesn't that pretty much put the lie to their words in general? But I have always believed that if mankind could ever reach a stage where they could actually fully trust themselves, others, and the universe at large, our thinking would be so much less stressful and much more healthy, promoting health in general. But our culture itself is so fear-ridden, on purpose, and the human body reacts to our thoughts, so if we are bombarded with constant fears and doubts, seems to me this goes a long way toward developing illness in general. I have read the Seth material, which explains this in elegant detail, and I genuinely believe that it is true, and that mankind has been sold a pretty flawed bill of goods in general, re: their own power over their own health, lives, etc. Thank you for a great interview!

Gail -- excellent comment. I would add to that --They would like to eliminate placebo effect, partly, for the following: If you look at the "strength" of effectiveness of say a drug under consideration for FDA approval you will see that the threshold for approval is a very small percentage above placebo. Always and you can look it up for your favorite drug. So in truth the vast majority of the effect of the drug is placebo assuming everyone experiences placebo and that must be true. If they could eliminate the placebo effect they would have accurate data. In other words if you have two groups, A and B --A gets placebo and has as 40% improvement and B gets the medication and has a 50% improvement group B is also having the 40% placebo improvement so the drug is reduced to a lousy 10% improvement rate. People should find the truth about drugs they are considering taking before they take them and also try to find the "side effects" which are other illnesses they cause. Personal aside I was waiting for a medication to come on the market that was in the pipeline. And there is always much ballyhoo for a new drug -- they are all "miracles" you know. So the doctor waves me off really rudely saying " saw that, it was fifteen percent over placebo AND made people feel 20% better subjectively. So from example A and B along with only being 15% of the subjects being effect3d over placebo -- how much were they really effected/. That can be a very small percentage too. In our American culture we demand that medicine do every single thing it can do even if the chances of it working is very slim. Because humans always think they will win the lottery. And from the medical point of view they will be sued constantly if they do not offer medicines which are available because, hey, it might work for you so they can't deny you. And since this is the psychological mindset each party brings to the table the medical industrial complex will never become more rational and the patients will continue to suffer their "side effects" gladly -- many of which are health ruining. Also medicine never wants a person on one drug; once they are on two or more then who knows what any drug might be doing and that lets them off the hook. Doctors have to push drugs, any and all drugs. It must be up to patients to do their own research -- serious research not yelp reviews research - and a lot of it is available online now or through a month's subscription to a couple of good journals.

Such a wonderfull explanation for so much that we could do for our own healing. Just amazing. Why don't we teach and learn self healing in our culture....doctors are Gods, we were raised to believe that we are quite powerless, still remember the witch burnings? Many reasons similar I believe. Perhaps we do need a helper (healer, therapist, etc, ) to help us discover how powerful our bodies and minds are to healing....and of course wise scientists too. :) thanks...

scott k: What about the storms on Mars and Jupiter? Or the stroms even before humans existed on Earth? You do not need hate or bad feelings to cause storms. This kind of thinking is a common problem among people who have an interest in the "unconventional" topics. They build up a world of their own in which what they "feel" is happening. That hurricane thing is a good example to the getting lost in the metaphysical cliche, sorry.

I have bought aspirin at a store 5 minutes from home to use for a tooth ache, taken the tablet and soon realized in a minute or two my pain was gone. Not exactly placebo effect, probably self-hypnosis.

I would think a person is tapping into the Akashic record. Basically, it's the collective unconscious that Jung spoke/wrote about, and it can inform us all on any subject. This is where our own personal gnosis for healing comes from...whether we know it, or not. Just my two cents on the matter... ;-) Nice conversation. Enjoyed it.

I've not used magic mushrooms, but from talking with those who have I can see that they are just entering the same dimensions that those who meditate, or practice shamanic journeying (with a drum), enter in to. There's really not much difference. Both are just peeking under the same curtain in different ways... :-) We are tapping into similar realms when we heal through the placebo effect, I would think.

What bothers me most about the placebo is that reductionist doctors assume that if placebo is so effective, most all of our physical problems are in our heads (as in completely made up), which is false. Even if we can over-emphasize our pain or symptoms, it doesnt mean they arent actually there.

This reminds me of the Platonic doctrine of recollection.

How do you obtain a result when you perform a ritual speaking a language (reading it) that you don't know? Consciousness understands that language even when you don't. I think that is how a placebo knows how to fix your pancreas even when you don't know where it is in your body and you don't understand what work it performs in your body.

could it be an observer effect during the study which results in the placebo effect? perhaps the researchers are expecting to see an effect and so they cause it to happen in the test subjects by their intentions?

Stephen doesn't question: To what extent would a surgical practitioner know how to cure a condition without action and against all his training? No surgeon knows how to cure without touch and therefore has no such knowledge (in a strict reductionist sense) to transfer to the placebo patient. Another mechanism beyond knowledge transfer (as generally understood) is required as explanation.

Re: Placebo effect. Has the experiment been done with controlled groups where: Group A - "This drug will make you feel better," and Group B - "This is a sugar pill"? Also interesting, Group C - "Do this activity which is proven to make you feel better."

Yes it has, even those who knew it was a placebo effect still showed significant levels of improvement compared to control groups.

I don't understand the distinction between "information" and "energy". aren't these aspects of the same spectrum? Information is organized energy. energy is the medium for all information.

I read: "The manipulation of perceived reality through non-local intention" by Stephan Schwartz and the words "Nelson Mandela's funeral", and the overseer of the Global Consciousness Project Roger "Nelson" where in it. Coincidence? haha.

He sure loves talking about climate change whatever that is. It would have been a good conversation other than that. All of the great remote viewers and researchers talked about everyone having the ability to tap into the universe or subconscious collective or Akashic record or whatever it is, at some level. They've all said they don't know what it is. They don't know exactly how they can travel time and space to other locals and see what's inside a locked vault, but they know they do it. They know the method that Ingo developed. It's the same subconscious and intent that heals the pancreas or allows the placebo to work. We don't have all the answers, but we know it's there and available. If he left the political topics out of it it would be a good discussion.

I've been enjoying Schwartz's interviews, but my goodness, he is constantly giving Dr. Mishlove no room for enriching the conversation. He almost seems offended you would dare try to add to his train of thought. Also ugh. Please relax with the anti-theism, Schwartz. Especially the political commentary. I can understand anti-theism, as it helps bring a little more credibility (at least in the definition of the materialists) to Parapsychology. But the political commentary seems so unprofessional.
