Amen just so amazing how much hope and encouragement from Joni. I often re-listen to her talking when I get scared, feeling down, or discouraged. Physical suffering due to disease or disability can be so hard sometimes. I pray God could use me to help others and not to focus on my own pain! Thank you Jesus!

I LOVE THIS! And For those that don't know the Lord, there is another confession that results in salvation! It is called the GOOD confession! When we confess that YESHUA IS LORD, from our hearts believing that HE ROSE from the dead over the curse of death for sin we are justified and saved! HE HAS DONE THE GOOD WORK for our salvation! Romans 10:8-10! THE WONDERFUL WORKS OF GOD (Ps. 22)! We realize that we are sinners, we are weak, we are so so so in need of our wonderful Savior and we have changed our mind from thinking we are good, we are strong, we have all we need. WE REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL! HE IS GOOD, HE IS POWERFUL, HE HAS PROVIDED ALL WE NEED IN HIMSELF for US to be saved by HIS righteousness that He gave FOR US! ONLY HE could rise from the curse of death for sin! RECEIVE THE LORD in faith and CONTINUE being helped in every way by Christ like sister Joni talks about with such encouragement here! THANK YOU SISTER JONI!!!

Thank you, Joni! ❤ Like the apostle Paul many years ago, I, too, have a thorn in my flesh, and that is a great lack of sleep. I'm sorry to say I'd spent many a night in self-pity crying and angry at my Savior because I wasn't sleeping. Now, while that temptation still gets strong sometimes, again, like Paul, God's reminding me that His grace is sufficient, and through the power of the Cross, I will be able to work my 1-9pm shift today. 😊

I’m quadriplegic and can’t even turn over by myself. Home now with husband. But scared of ending up in nursing home someday. We’re seniors and can’t do this much longer. Won’t be able to afford round the clock caregivers. 🙏

I am not a quadriplegic but I am a senior with the same fears that you mentioned. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and I have my own medical concerns. I pray that whatever the future hold for us that God will be in it, taking care of us until He takes us home. In the mean time I pour all my fears, anxiety out to Him and ask for His peace.
