I agree with BTG that in order to be compassion we should also be able to do something to help/ assist that person to improve his difficulties.....However I don't agree that we need to have some form of special power or facilities to help that person.....yes, if we have something more substantial to offer we should give it, but if we don't have anything to offer then we still can help by offering our listening to his problem and show them that we care for them and aknowledge their difficulties....A kind word or simply hearing their stories sometime is more powerful than to be able to give something......So I don't agree that we have to have something material to offer....

Such an an important topic and such a bad recording of the sound. I'm sure it can be fixed somehow. ...
