Fun fact: that Shadow of the Conqueror book is a book that Shad wrote himself.

A good example are boats on a dock; there's very little friction, and a single man can push this thing several times his size and weight to move it about.

Shad makes excellent videos and I have been a subscriber of his for years. He analyses movie fights, movie and game castles, what types of weapons fantasy creatures would be best suited for and a lot more. A large part of his videos look at castles in general and are really fascinating. He goes very clearly through his thought process and while he is not a historian you can clearly see he looked at a lot of historical references and has a fairly good understanding of what he is talking about.

Thanks for introducing this guy, I'm gonna watch more of his content now! On a more lore side note, now we can see the reason why Konrad was such a deadly combatant and why he really pissed off the Lion. Just launching yourself at the Lion like a wild Beast is going to trigger him alone, let alone the irritation of the two handed swordsman having to handle Konrad's claw-grapples.

i can understand exactly your point with Yarrik, and yeah... he did originally put it on as a statement. But, quite a lot of Orks Believe he can use it as an Ork Boss would... and we all know what happens when a lot of Orks believe the same thing.

I think the field kind of contradicts the effectiveness of the klaw. like if the disruption field is just going to part armor like it wasn't there you are never going to grab anything as you'll just cut your target in half with it so that whole grab advantage is pointless. which means your kind of better off with an axe or something.

@@Shaun_Jones the space marine version can don't know to much about the ork version but I don't know why you would want to in combat. Like its snipping someone in half vs crushing him in half. Only difference is 1 of those gives him more of a chance to shoot you in the face.

Matters the traditional margial art most chinese and jaoanese ones yes because they super fo used on forms which is basicly shadow fighting every belt u memorise a specific sequnce of attacks snd repeat it like the dancing dragon scene from avatar their is a higher emphasis on that than actualy fighting Compared like korian martial arts which were taught during the japanese ocupation as self defence techniques the twi main being tai qon do and tang soo do The diference everyone knows tei qon do doe its graples and use of enemy force against u while tang soo do is more kick somones head in tesching people to kick head hight and focus alot of kicks snd sparing
