This might be regarded as a filler song in an album with 2 super hits, but frankly I am obsessed by its groove, and Andy's guitar part is relatively simple, but absolutely perfect. The whole piece has a kind of transcendental feel to it.

Who ever you are that posting these amazying songs , we love you too much...

What a good surprise ! Exactly the kind of song no one do a remix with, generally remixers make versions of hit singles... This one is an album song, not a single, even if it's a good song, of course ! Your "Regatta de Blanc" Rmx is awesome too ! Keep on remixing The Police... I'd like to hear a Remix of "Darkness" too... And so many others Police songs !

Just imagine if all sting's soli stuff was reproduced by The police with the extra touch of FYYC Guy , The sound of The police is so addictive, Again I must declare you are doing one hell of Job, I bet The police will love what you do.

Thanks again, Uk ok! I have the same imagination and especially the hope that that will happen soon, preferably without me, if you don't mind. All three have enough material that can be reproduced by giving it a 'Police treat'. Sting's over-arranged and sophisticated songs then get the indomitable uptempo’s and expression of Stewart and the cosmic touch of Andy. And Stewarts and Andy's songs are finally well structured and well sung :-) Isn’t that a piece of cake? But they have to hurry, because time is running out. So again....: come on guys, do what no one expects, but everybody wants. What's there to lose?

@@fyyc You'd never get a radio station in the UK back in 1978 playing a hard rock song like this that's virtually an instrumental. That's why they didn't release it as a single. They didn't need to - they had Moon and Bottle from this album, both No1 smash hits, so didn't need any more.

Well done, thanks for posting. I noticed Andy went from a Tele to a Les Paul-style guitar and realized it's not live for sure. Regardless, very cool and I appreciate it. My favorite Police era is the 1st 2 albums. Cheers.

Excellent thank you ! This album is full of haunting tracks, the exception being 'On any other day' which is joyfully nuts ! Anything from a conspiracy of cups & plates to having one's digits cut off by a car door (God forbid) accompanied by a tooting elf-thing !
