@@rickykilby4672 Am a guitarist (not pro anymore) but my son is a talented drummer. He was COMPLETELY STUMPED by Copeland's fills. The reggae influence and off-beat syncopation was one of the main parts of the Police inimitable sound (along with Sting's voice and Summer's chords). DID I ACTUALLY WRITE THIS?

If he didn't invent the term "lead drums" he certainly popularized it.

Absolutely fantastic. Those are one of the best trios of music history.

I think Stuart Copeland pioneered the modern way of drumming since the Police first hit the music scene.

It’s 2023, and Andy Summers is eighty! EIGHTY!! EIGHTY YEARS OLD!!!! How on Earth did that happen?? Did he miss out a decade or two? Great video, by the way - more energy than most bands half their age.

Qué éxtasis de temazo, de intérprete, de batería y de guitarra. Lo mejor del final de los 70, adelanto de lo mejor que se dio en los 80. Una década muy abundante y desigual, pues abunda lo bueno y lo hortera.

Such a good band. Who wants to see the Police record a new album ? One of the very few bands that ended things at the height of their fame when there last album was great and they were still on top. What a band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Estuve allí en primera fila, el concierto comenzó con esta maravilla de tema, el público se fue hacia adelante, una presión tremenda, si no me desmayaba allí no me desmayaba en todo el concierto. Paso por suerte y sonó como nunca!

Sublime AND powerfully EPIC! On top of their game. Est e piece in " Rock and Roll" of all time ( Motorhead and Rush after them). Killer!!! Amazing performance. And, to their credit, they went out on top. The Brits...always doing it better than everyone ( from America)!

Stewart is phenomenal!

Andy was 65 here, while Sting and Stewart were still in their mid-50s. But he didn't lose a step. Even now, at 80 years old, he still sounds great.

Na época em que "Message in a Bottle" voltou a ficar em evidência por causa do mega sucesso do Guitar Hero III.

Saw them outside Toronto back in 81 or so. The Police Picnic it was called Iggy Pop Oingo Boingo Killing Joke Nash the Slash and a few others. Musically The Police were perfect. Sounded great the whole 9 yards, just felt clinical no buzz ya know. Crazy long day and saw some wild shit.

it was in 80s..the band was weĺlknown..i guess they are at late 40s or early 50s in 2007..but the music is kinda fresh..i like it
