I remember back when I was in Elementary school, it was December, everyone in each grade would go to the music auditorium and we watched the Polar Express on a very large projector screen. So many memories.❤️🥹🎄🎁

When I was in elementary school, we would have a Polar Express Pajama Day every year the day before Christmas break. We would come to school in our PJs, have the book read to us, & gather in the PE room where we watched the movie.

When the train begins to depart, you can see the motion of the engine move slowly before yanking backward a bit-causing a chain reaction of bumping before the cars actually move. That's a really nice detail as an animator and train fanatic.

This is 1 of the most iconic Christmas movies we've ever gotten. It even gets re-released in theaters every year since it 1st came out, mostly in IMAX 3D.

8:34 I like how when the hero boy applies the emergency brakes the wheels on the engine seize up and lock causing the locomotive to slide on the rails

20 years on and this film is magnificent

Warner Bros.' Magnum Opus of Christmas movies. The Polar Express NEVER gets old.

Gets me every time when that locomotive comes out of the snow and steam gloom and appears in all its glory and beauty a classic 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive with all the moaning and groaning sounds it makes nothing but a shear beast !

I love very much this movie. The Polar Express is the best christmas movie from the world. My favorite scene from the movie is when the Polar Express arrives on the Hero Boy's house and the Hero Boy's bed room starts to shake.

@@joshmontemayor6098 Yes. Because Chris was the only who could be manage to hear the train's whisle and see the earthquake in your bed room. His dads and his sister don't notice nothing from the Polar Express' arrive on the Chris' house.

And me I was 12 yrs old when this movie came out and I was in 5th grade

I can’t believe how lucky I was to see this in the theater. Still one of my favorite entrances of a steam locomotive

I watched it on Disney+ through Hulu, apparently.

Somehow I watched this on Disney+ the other day (they were testing with adding Hulu content on the main service). Movie's still got it

I know this is an unpopular oppinion, but can we have a remake of The Polar Express? Well... reimagination, with similar vibes, and magic. I cant imagine what artists can make with new tech for making it magical, and still somewhat scary

There is something about this movie that makes me to watch again and again.

Oh yeah.

This is the scene that got me into animation, sad this film is overlooked and shunned for it's early CG, the shot composition and scene direction is incredible, and instills a sense of wonder. And the hidden details and lore haven't been talked about as much as they should.

When i was younger, i was every time thinked that Hero Girl have falled in love by Hero Boy.
