From what my mom told me I used to cry and scream a lot when at a theater but apparently this was the first movie I didn’t have a meltdown at a theater

Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall both played multiple characters in "Coming to America", and even before then, Peter Sellers played multiple characters in "Dr. Strangelove".

I believe that it was Tom Hanks voicing all of the adult male characters.

The saddest line in the movie was when he said the even Sara found one day she couldn't hear the bell anymore.

I think this was the first ever performance capture animation ever made. That's why it looks so weird lol. It took me a few times watching this movie before I warmed up to it, what with the strange animation, but now it is an annual Christmas tradition for me. Along with about twenty other movies...

This is my all time favourite Christmas movie. I love it so much. I always cry at the scene where the two kids sing because I find it so beautiful and magical. The whole movie is magical. I'd love to hear a train pass by my house that takes you to the North pole. That would be a trip I'd never forget.

It’s crazy that some people will call ‘The Polar Express’ the worst Christmas movie. I didn’t think it was. It’s a classic movie!!

The book was a standard during childhood around this time of year. Every year your class would have the librarian or a teacher read it out aloud 🙏🏼

The Polar Express is by far the best Christmas movie of all time. This is one of these movies that you want to watch it with your families for generations. Every child should watch this movie and learn the meaning behind this masterpiece

If you loved this kind of animation, I recomend Beowulf (2007) and A Christmas Carol (2009).both directed by Robert Zemeckis (the director of this).

I love watching The Polar Express, I grew up with it, when I was 3 my grandparents took me to the movie theater to see the Polar Express it was the best Christmas movie ever!

5:01 this movie was done with motion capture and Tom Hanks plays the majority of the characters. He’s Santa, The Hobo, Conductor and the boy. The behind the scenes of this is fun. Loved this book growing up and was glad they did the book justice with the movie. Every year at our local railroad museum they do a “Polar Express Train Ride” where they serve you hot chocolate and a cookie. They have performers doing the Hot Chocolate dance. The hobo shows up to cause mischief and Santa Claus comes on board and gives everyone a bell like in the story. This year the Santa remembered my daughter from last year who is autistic and it just made her trip even more special. He even asked to take a photo with her.

One of the greatest movies I ever seen in my whole life. The best thing about this movie besides it being a Christmas movie is that I saw this on a school field trip too

I haven't ever seen anything about Tom Hanks doing a remake of this, in fact I looked it up and found the opposite being said of it, that there is no remake/sequel.

It's a cartoon that I really like. I think that in all the Christmas films and cartoons I think my favorite is really The Express Pole, no it's a very touching, very moving film that I really like to watch every Christmas. I can't wait to see him again, it made me so sad for the little one and the ending was very moving, especially when at the end he said that the bell no longer worked because he had stopped believing in Santa Claus, It was so moving and I really enjoyed it. The part with the train rolling on the ice was so stylish❤️🥺

I have a replica of the sleigh bell that I use for the holidays to hang on my tree. It’s my most favorite ornament of all. 😁

I have a vintage marx train post war i cherish it so much seeing the old toy train in end is my favorite.

I know I’m late to this as I was finishing up my college finals for the semester and getting over a cold but this movie is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. So much so that it sparked my enjoyment and enthusiasm for trains growing up and I still enjoy this movie and other train media sources to this day and always will.

One of my favorite Christmas movies and the musical score is academy award good its too bad it didn't get nominated for it.

I like to think the old man on top of the train was the ghost of Christmas past. Hence why he asks the boy, “do you believe in ghosts?” And that’s also why he evaporates into the air and snow, and also why he berates the child with the puppets and calling him a doubter, scaring like a ghost would.

One year when I was 9 my younger brother and I were so excited for Christmas we got our parents up at 4a.m. they were not happy! 😂

great Christmas movie but still think that a better choice to you is "Family man" with Nicholas Cage or "Last Christmas" with Emilia Clarke....or at least " The Happiest season" with Kristen Stewart....

But there is no Sam in Transformers 4, only Cafe Yeager. I won't say anything further because it will spoil the whole movie, but Express Polar was awesome and have a nice, warm and peaceful Christmas...🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
