I was there last night, and this was possibly the best gig I have ever been to. Don't skip any of it (although my personal highlight was Nadine Shahs 'The Auld Triangle. Spinetingling.) Epic
Shane, Philip, Daryl & Ronnie would be proud 👏 ❤
This is brillant...great to see the pogues and shane's songs still alive....what an ensemble.... well done Spider and crew
Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Red roses for Shane 🌹and lots of love for Darryl Hunt, and the great Phil Chevron. You will never be missed. What a triumphant tribute ! As Spider said, i'm sure Shane was looking at it, a big smile on his face.
Just brilliant, please please let there be a tour

There's rumours of a Dublin show, plus they filmed & recorded last night.
I was too ill to go last night, which broke my heart. A thousand thank you's for filming & posting.

It has all the energy & joy of a Pogues gig in the 80s. It was like being 14 again, when I fist saw them at Leeds University.
I was there, 1st row center against the railing. God bless. Irish Rover.
Gutted to have missed this - I live down in Whitechapel, life has been.... a lot.... recently, and I had no idea this show was on until I saw the review in the Grauniad. I hope they do something like this again at some point. I saw the boys every December from 2004 until they stopped touring (and their last London show in Hyde Park one July). I'd adore to see the remaining band members tour a tribute show like this again. Shane will forever be missed, as will Phil, but these songs deserve - deserve? Demand! - to be kept alive in performance.
Thank you for making the effort to record it, from down the front t’was a joy to behold and seeing it again this morning gave me chills 🙏
Also a big thankyou for recording and sharing i will be watching this many many times just joyus and emotional

This is magnificent. I’d love to have this performance on vinyl. Does anyone know whether this will see an official release? Spider did a phenomenal job filling Shane’s shoes. Stellar performance.

It looks like it was officially recorded, so they might do something with it.
Fantastic thanks for sharing 👌👌
This is real music with heart and pure feelings from ALL of the performers. My favourite was the version of "The band played Waltzing Matilda".
