Also, she was sleeping; she wouldn’t hear the motion lights come on. If they had just gone and looked in the well without worrying about the lights, they might’ve not even woken her up. Then, she never would’ve sold the property and Ward wouldn’t have been able to get the gold. But then we wouldn’t have had as good of a story
