Saghar Nizami (Real Name: Samad Yar Khan) (1905 - 1984) was a very prominent Urdu poet of the 20th century. He also edited several magazines, and was known as a playwright. Several collections of his poetry were published in his life, and his collected works were published posthumously. He received the Padam Bhushan Award for his literary achievements.
