I’ve been waiting for years for this game

I was bummed when Plucky Squire did not appear at any of the major showcases this month, but I am happy to see previews popping today (and the devs comment for the game to be planned for this year still). I really hope we get a release date soon. This is easily my most anticipated game of the year (even more than the Elden Ring DLC, which I am so excited to play).

Looking good. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I think it's been a while since this game got featured in any presentation or showcase of the sort, so it's nice to see it get the spotlight shone on it once more. A reminder of those smaller and long ago announced games that are coming to fruition. 0:23 - Very Little Big Planet/Dragon's Crown vibe from the narrator. I also appreciated hearing the sound of a pencil as the words appear on screen. 1:54 - What I'm liking from what I'm seeing is how natural these two gameplay styles feel. The 2D and 3D gameplay feel like they are part of the same series, like witnessing a 16-bit Gen 4 game and it's 3D 32/64-bit Gen 5 sequel... except you're able to switch back-and-forth between them. 3:23 - A sudden sci-fi theme and shoot em up section was not what I was expecting. Your comparison before were with Zelda but this feels like Kirby (or perhaps Fantasy Zone would be a better comparison) sneaking in.

Keeping an eye on this one. Can’t wait for release, it looks so good!
