When it says Pixel 6a only, does than mean you're just getting the device without the charger manual etc, or it means no accessories like case or whatever preorders got etc.

I'm currently shopping a used phone around $200 and am pretty much set on the Pixel 6 series. My question to you is, with their used prices being so close, like 6a around $190 and the 6 Pro being as low as $230, would you say that the 6a is still the way to go even with the prices being so close? I really like the smaller form factor and honestly prefer the plastic back. But would obviously enjoy the Pro's camera system.

Pretty much agree with this, its the law of diminishing returns, and phones like the 6a hit the sweet spot. I think that now Pixels are up there with Apple and Samsung in terms of the overall polish and features. Got my official seafoam green (for my sage 6a) recycled plastic 6a case today and it is very nice too, not too tacky like my old samsung soft touch silcone case was. And the translucent looks really good

Awesome video man. You convinced me to upgrade to either second hand and still have great upgrade while paying maybe 250 like the pixel 4xl I'm on for 2 years. I paid 240 in 2020 summer. Mine has hardware issue occasionally but I still managed to get my money worth. I think both of these are great. If I see a pro for 250 which I may have to replace broken back glass I will do that.

blows my mind everyone threw a fit over the Pixel 6a having a 60hz device, when the newest iPhone 14 STILL has the same 60hz display for, like, double the price and nobody says a thing! Also I think it's important to consider that the Pixel 6 does not sell for the full $599 anymore. It's down to $499 at places like target as I write this comment. Granted the Pixel 6a is selling for $399 there as well. But that's only a $100 difference, so I dunno, a marginally improved camera, wireless charging, and higher refresh rate seem like a decent value for that. But I think there's room in the market for both!

I have one of these arriving tomorrow. I've wanted a Pixel phone for some time, but something, in each iteration has always put me off. But, not here. I'm pleased that (if there has to be one) that the Camera Bar is "balanced," (hello Apple) and that there'll be no wobbling, although I have a case coming too. Disappointed about the Headphone Jack, but I've invested in a USB set of earphones, as opposed to buds. I'd lost buds for sure! 😉😉

I'm considering the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6a. Coming from the Pixel 3a, I'd love to stick with the A line. Rather than spending so much on the Pixel 6, I'd rather just spend the extra $150 on Pixel bud A-series, an official case & screen protector and get the pixel 6a

I'm a pixel 6 owner , but have never been able to warm to it . If anything I prefer my 4a. Photo wise, there is no discernible difference in photo quality between my 4a and 6 ( without the a) - both take pretty good photos , albeit a little too over processed for my liking ( maybe a future update will fix that ) I don't mind the plastic backs so people shouldn't be put off by that, plastic can be of a high quality . My 4a had good quality plastic back . I would love it if pixels had brighter screens, I don't think 500 nits is good enough nowadays. You don't realize how dim the screen is until you see other phone screens. My pixel 6 is practically unusable outside during bright lighting conditions, even on auto brightness

It seems like the reason for the upgrade is slightly larger screen w/ 90hz, wireless charging, and bigger RAM.

A good review, however, you fail to mention the Pixel 6A does not have wireless charging. For me, and I guess a lot of modern day mobile users, this is a must-have feature.

Has anyone experienced any issues with 6a while using navigation for a prolonged period?

The price is pretty close for these two bricks so you can just take what you like. Xiaomi 12 is the form factor I expected from the 6a. Beautiful phone.

Mostly follow this guide, luckily I choose the pixel 6 and after several updates, the pixel 6 is clearly better than a 6a now!

Hey buddy.. i have been an andriod user all my life. However I own Macbook pro for very long time. Which mobile do you suggest? Iphone 13 or Pixel 6A or S22+ ? I am eager to jump over to iphone13, however need suggestions.

I watched your video but decided to go with the Pixel 6 over the Pixel 6a. Here's why: 1. 256GB: As I shoot a lot of photos and videos I wanted the larger memory size and opted for 256gb which is not available on Pixel 6a (which offers max 128GB) 2. Pixel 6a uses the cheaper Gorilla Glass 3 (2012 version), instead of Gorilla Glass Victus (2020+), and so the 6a is easier to scratch and break than the 6. I need the more rugged version. 3. 4x the pixel count on main camera. Sometime I take photos of small object in big background such as a bird on a tree, and want as many pixels on the bird as possible for clarity. 4. Wireless Charging. I use wireless chargers and my car and home and just didn't want to downgrade to the Pixel 6a which has no wireless charging. 5. Price: I was able to buy the 256gb Pixel 6 for around $100 more than the 6a which I figure is worth it since I'm getting $100 more features easily.

Purchased two pixel 6's for £299 each on black Friday here in the UK. The 6a was £299 aswell so here in the UK the 6 was better value.

How do you set it up to pull down the icons to preview the app like you did at 5:14

I got the 6A, then returned it a week later, battery drain was terrible, prob faulty controller. Got the 6Pro last week, loving it, not one issue even fingerr print reader works great. 6A speakers too quiet for my liking, 6 pro, speakers better.

I just picked up a 6a for $140. Amazon has them for 299 and you get $150 free credit on your Amazon account when you apply for an Amazon prime credit card which you are my total to $140

Video quality also differs between 6 & 6a.

I cant decide whether to get the 6a, the iPhone 13 or just wait for the pixel 7. Any suggestions? I don't care much for the camera or gaming performance

I've never heard some mention an i phone and Pixel in the same sentence😅, I like smaller dimension phones so the pixel 6 seemed just a bit to big, the 6a on paper seemed perfect the refresh and very slight down grade in camera doesn't bother me and having smaller dimensions while offering almost everything else the 6 and 6 pro does. However The one thing that put me off getting the 6a was the slow charge time, 2 hrs to fully charge just doesn't work for me, I am the kinda person who runs a phone down to 1% and then plugs it in 3 times a day to charge for 15 mins. So I'm going to wait for the 7, sits between the 6a and 6 in size so should be OK.

If you don't care about the performance and the camera, there is absolutely no pint in spending more than 300 usd on a smartphone. These are the two things which separates budget phones from midrangers and flagships. You can go for a 250 dollar motorolla if pure software is the only thing you want.

If you don't care about heavy performance and low light pictures much then get the pixel 6a bcz it's compact and easy to use in day to day life and you can use rest of the money for other accessories 👍🏻

Pixel 6a is better than Pixel 6 when the price is compared! 90Hz, Gorilla glass Victus, better stereo make 6 better than 6a if price is not considered. And in India, improted Pixel 6 and locally available pixel 6a (taxes!!😐🙄) is of the same price. So pixel 6 makes much more sense than 6a. Form factor of Pixel 6a is heaven sent. I wish it had 90 Hz and then the title would have made sense. Gr8 videos tho...keep it going!!

I agreed with this till yesterday but I just saw that they are selling Pixel 6A on AMAZON FOR 10K INR Cheaper than Flipkart so this information has tipped the scales for me towards the 6A.

Only 2 problems first 18w charger then gorrilla glass 3 . Everything else seems fine

The screen is decent but do you think google overcut using previous gen camera sensor. If they could have even slightly upgraded the camera hardware I'd pick this without a second thought. Saw some camera comparison with pixel 4a 5g and found out pixel 6a had some overexposure issue in bright daylight. Also read some -ve amazon reviews pointing out about its price not worth its experience.

Google offers insane trade-in value for an iphone 8 or a Samsung Galaxy A51 $400 towards the Pixel 6a.

Can you confirm the experience of using the 6a in 5g? Does it overheats and throttles? Most reviewers just review the 6a in Wi-Fi mode, without really using it in real life, thus never really experienced the phone in 5g mobile data……

My 6a was getting so hot I could barely hold it, when connected to 5G. I found an article that advised switching it to LTE and it was much better. Then the Android 13 update and another update that followed it have made the phone stop overheating in 5G. If you haven't had the updates, be sure to install asap.

@@adr5754 i am from Chhattisgarh it warm while gaming 40+ generally otherwise it stays below 34-35 camera is good as compared to iPhone SE (2020) battery life is good too 1 full charge can stay for whole 1 day

I would definitely get the PixelA but the fact that it only comes in 128 storage in 2022, no thanks. That's almost a joke. It's literally 2022 and you don't offer higher than 128? Pixel always ALMOST nails it.

I'm not sure if you're truly grasping ' the same ' theory. The pixel 6 is 6.4 inches Vs 6.1 so in essence much bigger display The pixel 6 is glass Not plastic . Two big upgrades

The screen is barely any bigger and actually easier to use on 6a. Plastic is not a downgrade at all in my opinion because you can't feel the difference in a case, it makes the phone lighter, and also more durable! Thanks for watching! 😁

Pixel phone are the most slippery phone I've ever used in, my lifetime..

The only people that even care about the higher refresh rate screens are the ones watching videos like these. My friends in real life? They couldn't even tell me the refresh rate that their screen has other than "it works"

Nice video 🎉 My pixel six was my last pixel so I switched over the iPhone with the iPhone 12 pro max. At that time I had already had a pixel 3xl that I traded in for a pixel six to give it one last chance and I realize iOS is just much better. That integration and fluidity of everything always working, as that was not the same experience with android. I will never go back. In fact, I just traded in my 12 Pro Max for the 14 pro max and I just love everything about Apple. The funny part is after years of being a android fan boy I thought I would never say this, but it’s truly just overall a better product and many androids cost more than Apple now. Keep making your amazing videos.

Just saying the truth about youtubers make your views less.

The pixel 6 has also wireless charging and faster charging speed, in some countries the price difference between the 6 the 6a could be 100 or even 50$ and honesty it worth spending that little extra money for the 6. My only problem with the pixel series in general is the battery charging speed, I mean over 2 hours to charge a phone from 0 to 100% is just ridiculous for a flagship in 2022, even the iPhone charges faster than that.

Click-bait title. The 6 is better than the 6a. The 6a is the better buy, but not the better phone overall. Geez. Battery life, battery size, ram, available storage, screen refresh rate. The camera argument is stupid because you just took pictures of things no one takes pictures of. Bushes? Wtf? Try taking one of people indoors or one where people are moving. That lens size means the 6 can capture more light and isolate movement better. What kind of terrible advice are you giving? It's not a better phone, it's a cheaper phone, but I thought that was obvious due to the price.

I did not take your comment as negative but actually as constructive feedback because you have a lot of good points that I need to talk more in depth about. 1. About the title, I was implying it was the better buy for most people but I get why than can be seen as clickbait and referring to the phone itself. 2. I should have mentioned about the storage options as I did receive a lot of comments saying that 128gb as the only option isn’t enough for them. 3. I understand completely with what you mean about the cameras. Unfortunately, I don’t have any means of taking pictures of peoples because I don’t have any friends or people willing to be a test subject in the video 😂 I should test more indoor photos in the future however! Thanks again for the feedback and watching! I will take all these points in mind to help me as I grow as a creator!

IDK my 6 pro take gorgeous pics, better than 6a. re telephoto camera 6 pro, took pic of airplane way up in sky, with telephoto 4x, then zoomed in, could see clear detail; of plane. Engines, windows etc.
