Thanks for reminding me. I was going to just walk by and not comment but you had to go there. Well first of all Mike Tomlin was given a championship team by Bill Cowher in 2007 and was able to not screw them up for a few years. Then the Steelers decline started because of Mike Tomlin's ego and inabilities. He wasted the careers of many HOF players through his micromanaging, lack of rapid decision making, lack of hiring and retaining good coaches, lack of player development, mishandling of elite athletes, lack of an innovative playbook, lack of game prep and lack of game management. Mike Tomlin is the primary force that is holding back the Steelers from becoming great again. Terry Bradshaw was right, Mike Tomlin is not a great coach. You can't consistently win playoff games with a rah-rah emotional coaching style alone. You "Loves me some Mike Tomlin" apologists hate the Steelers and hate the fans who want excellence. That is pretty pathetic. Go for excellence in the playoffs or go home.

A lot of their former players praise them, yet Not A One Says A Damned Reason _WHY!_ I don't have a clue what either one actually _does_ but yeah, it's apparent that Tomlin doesn't have many gears. If as HC that many years you can't fire Matt Canada either he isn't as autonomous as he appears to be, or he's inept. Either way, what does he actually _do?_

There’s a plan in place that we don’t see yet, Omar is cooking up some good stuff, I’m getting a different vibe this year and even though I was skeptical a little bit after the years of mediocre performances and playoff duds, but I’ve got a good feeling that this year is going to be different and the naj is going to ball out and Wilson will be just fine behind center need another Wr yet but I think we’re already getting better than last year

i been pointin out to people that dont know, we may not have won the North title but we owned the North last season. a new OC. a qb, our D. another good draft ( all weve come to expect from Khan) and we are competing this season. and not just for the North. im having flashbacks to Ben days, but with this D, thatll be even better ! whaat?

There was like ONE playoff game where all the Bs were healthy. No good QB play for six years. I'm open to a HC change, but ideally it should've happened after that Jacksonville loss. Not now. Tomlin has his guy in Fields; let's see what happens. Hopefully we have good QB play this year.

Next move maybe a free agent wide receiver or trade before the draft no one's talking about this guy but he's young and cheap DJ Chark I like it and I think maybe it wasn't as good as he once was but he could be with us

Russ is revamped, trust me on that. I guarantee everyone in that locker room has a different attitude now and I bet it's filled with excitement. I'm a Jockey only 5'1" but I wanna be someone on the field with that team right now! Still have OC, OT, WR, CB and S to draft or come up with but we're in 2nd year new management and the moves that have been made are very encouraging moving forward. HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!

Man, let me tell ya'll something, Russ is good but he's past his prime. Not a diss, just facts. He's clearly an upgrade over Pickett but is that really sayin much? Let me put it this way, if Russ was that guy, why would the Denver Broncos pay $30 million dollars to send him packing?🤔 Enough said. All the people that want to sleep on Fields and hold that mess he went through in Chicago against him are bout to find out real quick!

& who tf are you? Russ has avoided *looking at **_ANY receiver_** in or running toward* the middle of the field for two years straight minimum. He has led the league in passes behind the line of scrimmage _five straight years_ intentionally padding his completion %. Team practices haven't even started yet & you know he is revamped? _How?_

Great talk. IMHO if Tomlin doesn't take them to the playoffs and win at least one playoff game this coming season it'll be time to get on with his life elsewhere. The "never had a losing season" baloney is very, very old. Pittsburgh fans want to see more "Lombardi's, not mediocre seasons.

I think that while they need WAY more depth on the o-line they need to prioritize WR. They had no idea they _could get_ fields when they acquired Russ. But without more than Freiermouth & Pickens, this team has no passing game. There isn't a team in the league that can't shut down their passing game.

By the way Holcomb might not be coming back from what it sounds like probably going to be Roberts and queen

They need to start Wilson, but mix Fields in like Slash. We can prove you can mix it up like the Saints do.

That's not *all* he mismanaged. Despite Rudolph being the "hot hand" by not starting Pickett they sent a message of doubt in him. By merely speaking to Russ they tied their own hands. That action was like telling the world Pickett didn't have their confidence. Fields is a different matter. I seem to be the only one willing to say that the Bears Intentionally Sabotaged him. I have video links to support this, but only if you permit me will I include 'em as they are made by different, possible competitive content creators. This was pretty good. You didn't _only_ say something opinionated without referring to things that might support your POV like too many do. I'll check out your other stuff.

Tomlin took a previous guy's players and damn near won two superbowls with them, and has never had a losing season even with trash players and players in decline, imagine what tomlin would do with the players the chiefs and the 49ers have.

they had Heyward, and Troy, and Timmons that's it. The secondary was filled with cheap castoffs that weren't playmakers. We stated Antwon Blake, Bobby McCain, Will Allen, Arthur Moates, Then Shazier came and got hurt@@jeffvanduyne4614

Big Ben did NOT want to bring in Matt Canada. Get your resource correct or stop reporting. Matt Canada was the coach at the University of Maryland when Tomlin;s son played there.....Matt Canada was a Tomlin recruit. He brought him from Maryland to be a QB coach under Fichtner when Ben was still playing.....but it was understood Canada was the OC in the making. Matt Canada was a Mike Tomlin choice pure and simple.

Fichtner was worse than MC for me! Anything with offense ran through Ben Todd Haley was the best hands down…Ben wanted him gone that was that

Hmmmm…. I hear talkin but G. Pickens is not shown to be an elite player.. the times when D. Johnson was out Pickens had to be the dog but did not show and became frustrated…. So, it’s easy to talk what you have seen.. but it takes the play of all and the bounce of the ball to when the Big Game..

I also feel the Steelers may need to move on from Tomlin. I referenced Andy Reid and Tony Dungy. The ciaches and the teams needed the change to get to the promise land

First of all, look at the history of the steelers and head coaches. They have had fewer head coaches than any other team in the league! When they change head coaches, it's because the previous HC retired. Think about it. In the last 50 YEARS the Steelers organization has had just 3 head coaches. The majority of the teams in the NFL have had AT LEAST that many in the last 10 years......HELL, the Bears had 2 head coaches last year alone. Second, while it's been about 7 years since the Steelers have won a playoff game, you can't really blame the HC for that. If the players aren't performing up to the standard then that's not on the HC, that's on the players for not putting in the effort. If you pay attention to interviews of players on other teams, whenever they are asked if there was any other HC in the league that they would like to play for a pretty good portion of them say Coach T. So to say that the Steelers need to move on from him is utterly insane and honestly extremely laughable. So please, do me a favor and reach behind you, grab yourself by the hair, and swiftly remove your head from your ass

Now Tomlin has yo "step up", guess you need yo name someone instead of holding players accountable.
