Greetings! My ancestor sailed on the Mayflower, his name was Edward Doty, and he was an indentured servant of Stephen Hopkins. He was not a separatist, just wanted to go to the New World, but didn’t have any money, so he became an indentured servant and worked for Hopkins for a few years to pay back the cost of the ride there.

Ayy, my ancestors came on the Mayflower too! All of them my 10th great grandparents, I descend from 3 of the passengers: John Alden and Priscilla Mullens on my dad's side, and William Bradford on my mother's side. After having done my family tree, I told them that their 9th great grandfathers were actually good friends back in the early 1600's.
