The greater the distance you travel in space then you must be traveling less distance in time because there is a fixed quantity of spacetime combined. So the more you move in space, there's less time available left over. (This is an analogy). So, using numbers, if you start out with 299,792,458 meters of spacetime, and travel 100,00,000 in distance, then you only have 199,792,458 meters of time remaining so your time is reduced by a third. (These are bullshit numbers but I'm trying to make the point - in reality it's calculated using a 4D version of Pythagoras's theorem) - Alex

Same concept as real time travel. If you are born, set an ideal wristwatch timer for 5 years, and NEVER move, you will experience ALL the time in your current place within space-time, since your relative space didn’t change Versus… if you are born, set an ideal wristwatch timer for 5 years, walk a lot during this time, then return to your place of birth according to your timer, you should arrive a TINY bit LATER b/c you experienced LESS time from birth to now, compared to if you never moved, because you experienced MORE space. Your wristwatch timer will be a TINY bit SLOWER, meaning - You zig zagged more, so you experienced / took less time from A to B. It is just a TINY BIT though, so in reality you arrive at the same “time.” To time travel, you must leave earth QUICKLY, travel far away (more zig zag), and then wait many years. Then you return quickly. In this way, you zig zagged so much, came back, and experienced less time, so now you aged biologically 60 years, and your twin brother aged 90 years. You travelled in the future! Because zig zagging more reduces your relative time, compared to staying still or going directly A to B.

Going to the edges of the universe to explain time as a 4th dimension? It's a lot easier than that. Try meeting a friend at a particular 3rd dimensional location without setting a date. I hope you have patience!

This material is of course not easy to digest . Its also not topic matter that gets a push in our mainstream culture , I think particle and theoretical physics is without a doubt the ultimate doorway to technology that right now is unforseen. For example, if we are to truly become explores of the universe beyond our solar system . Chemical rockets and the concept of simply going faster is not going to get you there . We are going to have to find a shortcut , if plausible

Infinite time/space curvature is a spiral. Orbits. Spheres. Circles. Time as we know it is not linear, or a one way road-it is a treadmill and the runner is low on caloric intake. If the universe is a closed system, and quantum tunneling is really a result of the particle reversing time to when the barrier doesn’t exist to traverse the “wall”, then we are more than likely living in a closed time-like loop. Which means every day is exactly the same except in a closed system the entropy will always increase.

Why do we accept complex and illogical explanations that we do not understand as truth? Einstein said that if your explanation needs an explanation then you probably do not understand the question. Spacetime is real. Spacetime = length * width * height * time. Simple Time is a constant. Simple Time is relative between the dimension the observer is in and the dimension of the event being observed. Simple Any questions?

Spacetime is not a Euclidean space. Time is not the same as the three dimensions of space but may be thought of as having the square root of -1 implicit in its measure, thus the distance from one point to another is the square root of (ct)2-x2-y2-z2, points that are the same distance from an object do not form spheres, and so forth.

I can give a analogy to your question about time dilation, how ever it doesn't completely fit the ans. What color is it of completely empty space? You will answer black . But there is nothing such as black color exist. Similarly when you close your eye , you will see blackness, but how can you see blackness i.e black color while there is nothing such as black color exist. Did you get it . Brain is filling the absence of color as color black. But the color black doesn't exist. Here is the fun fact. There is no guarantee that black color you see and i see are the same. In fact it is possible to say different people see different color black since it has no measurable wavelength and frequency. It is completely brain constructed.

Dark matter is a factor in the circle breaking up and at some distance joins other light energy allowing expansion of the universe. This is my opinion and what do I know energy and darkness combined the circular movement resulting heat known as the Big Bang but was softer than one big explosion. Take care. .P.S.
