Truth is I have used the Pixel 6 and 6 pro in the past 7/8 months. But I've not once gotten these bugs, the fingerprint is a tad slow compared to other phones, but overall it is good. My only problem with Google comes with how they roll out feature updates, my phone all but has the cinematic wallpaper feature no matter how much I update it. Regardless, for the pixel's price, I did not expect it to come bug-free. The choice of a pixel depends on each user; if you want a high-end, affordable phone, go for the pixel; if you want a premium flagship at a higher price, go for Samsung and Apple.

This is your first video, but it's amazing, and much better than many tech channels. Keep it up bro.

So I am a Pixel 6a user (have been since about over half a year as well), and while I was well aware of the bugs in the 6 and the 6 Pro, I just wanted to still try out the Google experience. I noticed that we are both on the latest update this phone has to provide, yet for some reason I never encountered a majority of these bugs on the 6a (except for the calls dropping until about a month-ish ago when I received a patch for that). I feel like I have had an amazing experience with this phone overall in my time of using it. I have a bunch of friends on the 7/7 Pro, and their experiences with the bugs are a 50-50. Some of them have experienced part of it, others have experienced none. I asked them if they ever experienced the calling thing, and none of them had. I am wondering if Google themselves know about the slightly higher number of users on the 6a and tend to focus on them first, or if the hardware on the 6/6 Pro is just faulty and cannot be patched. I genuinely do not have any idea on why they are not working on fixing any of these issues on their higher end models.

Yeah, I agree I think the 6a is slightly more stable compared to its elder brothers, partly due to it being launched slightly later than the 6 and the Pro, it probably gave google some time to tinker with. Though the reason why most of these devices are buggy I suspect is because atleast for the 6 series the tensor processor was just a modified version of Samsung's Exynos 2100. And if history has showed us anything, it's that exynos processors are very inefficient in terms of performance. What I find strange is that even despite running on exynos a lot of the Samsung phones still ran decent, atleast without bugs. Considering they are on a heavily skinned version of Android, it's weird that the Pixels running stock android suffer from various bugs and issues. Fingers crossed they fix address this on the 8.

I have the pixel 6 & the 7pro I've never had any of those problems yes a few wifi drops same with my iphone 13pro it's not enough to take me away from my adorable Google pixel 😊😊😊

My pixel 6 pro was so buggy I had to get rid of it. I sold it after only 3 months in my hands. I had random resets, shutdown,failed updates, phone overheating and finally got hot pixels on the screen. That was it for me. I now have pixel 7, which has fewer bugs than before. But it's still somewhat unstable.

Appreciate it, thanks a ton! To be honest, from what I've seen, and having used this for a while, it's frustrating. If you live in a region where you do have warranty and are getting it at a good price, sure go at it. But if you aren't in one of those regions, maybe get the 7 or the 7 pro. You could also get the s21 fe, as that's around the same price now. It's gonna get updates up until android 16 as well, just like pixel 6, now that samsung's moved to a 4 year update cycle

If you're referring to the 7 pro, then that would be better, if you're referring to the standard 7 on the other hand, not a bad tradeoff. You'd need to ask yourself though how often would you use the telephoto lens and if that larger screen real estate matters or not. I think the 7 would be much more comfortable to hold and use one handed. Also, if you do live in a region where support and repair isn't an option for the pixel line up, then just don't get it all together. Better to be safe than sorry later on. Thanks for watching!

I had been working on this video for several weeks, and during the shoot, I had to do countless takes and my mouth started to feel really dry. Hey, I'd say check the s21 ultra. In my region, that phone right now surprisingly costs around 250 - 300 dollars. I'd say go for the pixel only if you find yourself in a region where google support is there, otherwise to be on a safer side, and if the Samsung is around that price, get the Samsung. With the lates 7a priced so close to pixel 7 people are arguing what to get but keeping in mind i still thing going with the pixel 6pro is a pretty good choice. Many may not agree and will not agree but you get a pixel pro for the price of an Pixel A. Good out way the bad making 6pro a pretty good deal As far as bugs go i have a pixel 6a in my family and its hardly showed any bugs. For the goods of the pixel 6 pro i am willing to risk it. From what I've noticed after reading a lot of comments, it's that the 6a has had less bugs than the other models in the 6 series, I assume it's because it was launched a lot later compared to those models, which allowed google to tweak the phone prior to its launch. If you have warranty support in your region go for the 6 Pro, if not, then go for a newer model from the 7 series or I'd say get a Samsung instead. Thanks for watching!

This was such a well structured and real opinion about the experience, and to not talk about how professional the video was edited would be a crime. I had the 1st Google Pixel and the microphone stopped working and even I tried to fix it, it was impossible, then I had the Google Pixel 2 XL which I gave to my sister and never had a problem. I had the Pixel 3XL and everything was running great until and update by Google left if bricked, I decided to give Google one last chance and bought the GP4XL and it overheated, it turned off when you put it in your pocket, battery would go from 20% to 0% in 5 seconds and then it was bricked by an update once again. "The danger of being swayed by hype is that one may be led to overlook a product's inherent flaws or limitations and so be disappointed with the end result", is such a great supporting idea for your opinion, great video oncea again!

Appreciate ya! I did see 1 or 2 posts asked by people on the Google support forum talking exactly about this very issue, they never seemed to get a proper response about it. I'm on Etisalat in UAE. If possible get the 7 instead, not worth the hassle getting the 6 if something does end up happening to it in the future.

It's the US Variant.

I use a Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and a One Plus 10 Pro and I have had zero issues with any of them. The screen is super smooth, the cameras are top notch, the OS is easy and fun and basically it's a great phone. Honestly I NEVER buy a phone when it first comes out because NO phone is worth the price of a trip to BORA BORA but definitely worth it's price a year later. Good review bro but a lil harsh I think on the Pixel 6 Pro.

I'm glad your devices work as intended. I know this review may have gotten a bit harsh as I'm trying to balance this 'being transparent without being harsh' aspect of a reviewer, but considering all the bugs I've faced, especially the calling bug, sigh, it was very frustrating to say the least. I love to get bleeding edge tech, but as you mentioned about never getting a new device at launch, I as well, was quite cautious with this phone so decided to wait a few months. Though, I do agree with your wise advice that 'No phone is worth the price of a trip to Bora Bora!' Maybe I should have taken a vacation instead lol. That's a good way to phrase that lol. Sorry for the misunderstanding. In this video I mostly refer to the 6 series as the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro. The 6A was launched quite later down the line, around 9 months later from the launch of the pixel 6 series. By then google had a lot of time to tweak these bugs, so they didn't really affect the launch of the 6A. Thanks for watching!

Google don't make a phone which can work like a phone, much disappointed from Pixel 3 to till this day with Pixel 7. Will may never come back to #teampixel ever again until they make a phone which actually works like phone, just make it usable for making some phone calls, come on Google how hard it is.

It's frustrating honestly. I used to be a pixel fan boy every since the first one came out. I remember using nova launcher on my daily driver back then (Nokia 5) to mimic the pixel UI, install the Google Camera Mod to take good HDR photos with Google's AWB. Sigh. It's frustrating to say the least that when I finally got a Pixel, this is what I went through. There was a lot more I could have said in this video, but it would've just become a rant at that point. Anyways, I digress. Thanks a lot for watching mate!

Excellent content bro. I guess Pixel 6/Pro has serious hardware issues that can't be rectified through software updates. Large quantities of Pixel 6 series are available in the Indian used phone market. Those are imported units without any scratches. 6 for 24k, 6 pro for 33k. So many people are buying this. They're experiencing these bugs , overheating etc. I'm using a Pixel 5a and got it from the same market for half price. Everything works fine except the camera app. It starts overheating using the camera for more than 5 min. So far the software experience is good.

No, it wasn't refurbished, I made sure of it. I got it from a reputable place, who has been selling pixels for years, so I doubt that. But I don't know dude, maybe it's just me, but from the reviews of other KZreadrs I've shared in the video, you can tell, they switched from those phones as fast as they could. It's a bigger deal for them, as they review countless phones a year, so it's easier to notice. Maybe I got a buggy unit, but a lot of others too getting one isn't mere coincidence. The s20 ultra is almost four years old at this point, it's not going to get any major software updates. If you can, get the s21 ultra instead. I'd recommend that over the pixel. Otherwise, if you're in a region with support, get the pixel.

@@laukikthakare8086 second hand nahi.. New mobile hi liya hai.. abhi tak tho sab sahi hai... one week bhi nahi hua hai... One month ke baad share kartha hu kaisa laga.. abhi ke liye tho. Screen acha laga.. and haptic feedbacks are good..

Nice video bruh...but im usothe pixel 6 pro since the release...first it had some bugs like heating and all but after the Android 13 update it is kind of smooth...and im really happy with this phone even after the long term use the only complaint is the slow charging and apart from that i kind of love this phone ....and also bro i think the issues u have pointed out with ur pixel i have faced none of them ...like even the battery share works perfectly ...and i don't know why everyone is talking bad about the fingerprint sensor i have screen protector on my phone and it works perfectly even when my hand is wet..
