I really want to see them again in another drama. They look so good together like damn they have great chemistry... also I cried like a mfk baby so many times watching this drama. Plus the fact that they don't have dubs is so satisfying. I get to hear their voices. 💜

I really love their love story in the mortal realm... from the way they met, the way they fell in love... it's just their ending, so tragic...i hate that she just died because she was poisoned by someone she trusted. But on the otherhand I'm still glad he followed her...😍

Part of the reason I keep coming back to Ashes as my favorite drama is the leads ability to express their pain and grief. It feels so real. So many other dramas the leads either have weird reactions (barely any expression) or are overdone. Deng Lun is amazing at it (and Yang Zi)

Out of everything iv ever watched this scene was the thing that made me cry the most. Out of every movie. Every show. Every anime. Everything. It still gives me chills

This drama still gives me so much of a rollercoaster emotions! But.... I swear, the girl dies so many times! 😂

Still the BEST chinese fantasy drama for me. I’ve seen a lot but this drama had the biggest impact on me. Yangzi and Denglun’s chemistry is just perfect and their acting is 10/10. The rest of the casts did great too. The story, music, special effects and the dynamics of the casts; everything is just perfect for me. I think I read somewhere that there will be season 2 for this? I hope it’s true and I hope it’s the same cast because they all did great.

They've been in a relationship since this drama and are still together. This is my third favorite chinese fantasy romance after Love and Redemption, and Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. Beautiful drama and Den Lun was insanely hot and sexy here.
