They are now starting in the Congress to ratify the economic provision charter change in the Philippine Constitution to open up the Philippine economy to foreign businesses and investments.

Great to see interest in investment here in PH but still need more barriers removed like the horrendous bureaucracy it takes to establish a business here, the complexity of employing people and all the form filling employees and employers have to do. The working capital requirements for many categories of business to be established are so prohibitive that many entrepreneurs are unable to get started. Also there are still many categories of businesses that still do not allow 100% foreign ownership and also foreign land ownership is restricted. Still light years behind our neighbours

Address corruption in govt, and manage the sky rocket inflation and improve business processing aplication. So much to do. Power and internet in the hands of a few so they control the price. We need more internet providers to have more competition in this areas.

Well the good for the people are clean water and electricity. Our electricity is expensive even for investment. And what need to improve is our health insurance compare to europe we are still far behind 😅 but i believe on our government. Nagmatalino ka pa leche. Hindi inflation ang problema. Ang problema, yung mataas na inflation. Nung panahon ni Aquino, sumampa lang ng 3% ang inflation, welga na. Pero ngayon gusto mo masanay tayo na above 5% ang inflation? At sa dinami dami ng tao sa gobyerno, sino ba may kapangyarihan na labanan ang inflation? Ang AGRICULTURE SECRETARY AT ANG PRESIDENTE. @@AMNG1994 it took pnoy 4 years para pababain ang inflation pero nag rereklamo padin ang mga tao nuon kahit na sunod sunod ang balita na mataas ang ekonimiya ntin under pnoy pero nag rereklamo padin ang mga tao sa mahal ng bilihin and we are facing rice shortages dahil tumaas ang rice price sa buong mundo sa tigin mo tayo lng Pati sa Indonesia they are facing rice shortages tumaas nga ang presyo ng rice sakanila ano sabi ng mga tao dahil nga sa rice cartel at sa rice market pero dito sa philipinas puro sisi sa presidenti before blaming the president do a research but tumaas ang mga presyo ng bilihin sa philipinas FYI walang gera sa panahon ni pnoy pero it took him 4 years kay PBBM from 8% to 4.1% pero tumaas ulit toh dahil sa sunod sunod na bagyo billions billions ang damages sa algricuture at sa mga oil companies na nag tataas ng presyo sa gasolinahan tignan mo sinisi nanaman si PBBM dahil nag taasan nanaman ng presyo ng gasolinahan haysss 😅

Inflation will gradually increase as the investment increases. This will create a lot of job opportunities. Inflation are affecting almost all the countries in the world. In UK the Inflation there is so high and even here in Canada. So don't be narrow minded ,be optimistic about the future of the Philippines. Get rid of crab mentality. We filipinos should be the one to lift up the image of our country. See how these foreign media are describing the economic boom in the country nowadays. Sadly some are not doing any good but to criticize. Those who are doing nothing are the one who are creating much criticism just to hide their inability or short comings.

China investment is win win. It knows it is only a matter of time it will be cut off from the West. It need to diversify its risk. It is also geographical. Being China's neighbor, an economically strong Philippines will engender a market for China's export. Whereas US investment is geo-political. Its sole purpose is to counter China influence. Is up to the Filipino people to judge which is more sustainable in the long run...PERIOD.
