The Philippine Experience Program took delegates on a three-day tour around the award-winning destination of Puerto Princesa and neighboring municipalities.
Included in the itinerary was an exhibition of cultural performances, culinary tastings, local crafts, a tour of the world-famous UNESCO heritage site Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, and an immersive dive into the indigenous weaving experience in the Tabon Cave Complex.
The Philippine Experience Program aims to diversify cultural tourism offerings in the Philippines. By showcasing the unique heritage of each region, it encourages both foreign and domestic guests to explore beyond the usual tourist spots. Through this program, visitors gain insights into Filipino identity, fostering pride and patriotism. The Palawan leg of the PEP exemplified the beauty and diversity of the Philippines, leaving participants with unforgettable memories and a newfound love for this tropical paradise.
