It's been two weeks since I've seen The Pharcyde live in NYC and I still have that performance fresh on my mind....they turned the place out. The coolest part of the show for me came towards the end when they let several fans onstage to help them perform "Passin' Me By"; one of the guys was actually able to keep up with each verse word-for-word, so much so it wow'd the Pharcyde. It was fun to watch and something I'll always remember when I hear or think back to this song. A reunion next, I hope?

For real. I listened to it at least that many times in the 90's. These dudes don't.

I only wish kids today would listen to this and realize that this is where hip-hop evolved to beyond the underground. Bizarre Ride is (IMO) one of the most prolific hip-hop albums of all time. This album should be a must hear for anyone interested in music (and I mean in the same league as Wagner, Beethoven etc, because it defined a generation)

I like the way hip hop has evolved you can really tell Fatlip was a pioneer in the melodic unconventional flows which can be seen nowadays on artists like Young Thug.

Metalhead here. I couldn't agree more. My Dad had this cassette. He used to listen to it front and back. He was a True G for a Swedish Man in America. He got me into all of this stuff. If only the new generations would take notes on The Epitome of Rap. This new stuff just isn't it.
