what can I say?, this is from seven years ago and they were great then, Ellen's banjo playing is great love to hear her letting rip a lot more in future. But they are all great singers, musicians, and people. Good to see dad he looks like he was a real nice guy.

Catherine Kahle That is the traditional way to do country and bluegrass going back to before there were big mic setups, mixing boards, and many speakers. It has the musicians in charge of the sound.

In the realm of 'Bluegrass music"....performing around one microphone is seen as simply AWESOME! They have competitions to see which group can best perform around one microphone.
