    would this be good for blasting off rust on old panels ? to be more specific cooling tower blasting .

    Michael Bradley you can mix in additives to the water like hold tight 102 which cleans the surface of contaminates and typically keeps the steel from rusting for a few days.

    Usualy when i see this dustless blasting equipment, they use crushed glas. Does it work with quarz sand?

    media for wet blasting can be any media that sinks in water and does not dissolve.

    Moo Moo Puppy usually, its glass but you can use quarz sand or whatever fine media actually

    No this is not waterjetting this is much lower pressure , its wet blasting

    This is actually interesting to me. I used to sandblast and media blast for a living. I used to _love_ cleaning up after that. So does the fact there's water reduce the possibility the aluminum will warp?

    yes, heat is not generated with water blasting so you will not warp metal or aluminum.

    How does it work on, say, an old Corvette body? Is it more likely to leave the gel coat intact than plastic media?

    With Hydrojetting or UHP blasting you do NOT create surface profile

    when you say 18mil do you mean the coating is 18mm thick? cause if so thats some thick ass paint

    Mil is a different measurement unit, it's 1000th of an inch. 18 mils is about .5mm.
