Excellent review. I’ve never been that impressed by Air Stream because they are priced so high with hardly any room or comforts.

Miles, you are the best! I have been researching a lot of videos about rvs and you are the one of my go to because you are thorough. Every time I see and Airstream I am reminded of Ricky and Lucy in one of their first movies. This is a beautiful rv. Thank you!

I absolutely love this unit! Perfect for me! I would get the single queen bed though.

I think your Tripod worked out well in this video. =)

I like the look of the twin beds but after 43 years, I still don't sleep well without cuddling to sleep. So, Queen for me.

Blue compass is new to me. I will check it out. I love the Bambi. From what I understand the front door is hand made and takes 8 hrs alone to make.

To me airstreams are aesthetically pleasing to the eye inside and out, but that’s all it has going for it. The first time you were in the rain you regret ever buying one.

Why is that? I can’t say I’ve ever heard of someone regretting buying an airstream. Rain is loud in any RV if that’s what you’re saying.

@@mylesrv I have met many people that have regretted buying airstreams and yes rain can be loud in most RV’s but it’s deafening in a airstream, plus the insulation is non existent which is a huge problem in cold and warm temps. Like you demonstrated if your tall or robust or both an airstream is not going to work. I could go on and on about the deficiencies but why bother. I had two of them and hated both I thought the newer ones were better than my 1988 so I bought a 2010 and got rid of it within 2 months.

Miles you need to take a trip to Utah or The other dealership in South Carolina and visit ROA OFF ROAD and check out the off road campers.

This is the Airstream 25' model seen in the CBS show Tracker. It's not cheap, but it's the perfect size for State and National Parks.

What about heating...?

I love airstreams but they are just so expensive. However they last a long time so I guess you can get your monies worth in end. Do you and your wife have your own camper Myles?😊

Good vid Myles. Slide-outs offer WAYYY too much interior comfort for me to ever consider an airstream.

I showed the price of this in the video. It’s $121k MSRP I believe. Whatever dealership you were looking at must have been a different model or had additional options I would imagined

I love this thing! If my goal is to buy an RV that I want to keep and show the longevity of for the next 10-20yrs, this would be my pick. The only thing I’m hesitant of is that I feel I’ll be more inclined to change RVs ever 2-3 years.
