good luck with saying solar at the beginning of your pitch. The beginning of catching them off guard with the sorry info with a pause sounds like an ear opener though. I will try to apply that

I just got a job as an appointment setter for a solar company. It's been about 4 years since I've done solar sales. Working for Kumquat Solar through a home Depot contact. Wondering if anyone had any advice or any tips for me. I have 3 kids and I'm trying to be at the top of my game so I can provide my girls with the best. Lmk if anyone has any suggestions on how to set the most appointments!

Congrats! And welcome to solar !!☀️💸 My advice would be to get around someone who’s already doing what you aspire to do, and then learn from them, train with them, mimic them etc to expedite the learning curve to success.

You calling warm or cold? Been doing this for 6 years and I won’t lie it’s getting tough in the industry.

the worst is that when they open with saying "you signed up for solar so im calling to see if i can help you i see that you have a high power bill" look take me offf the list ive had solar for years > just lies lies lies!!

Sorry I don't completely understand are you saying that every appointment setter says they have a high power bill?

If they don't answer, should we leave a voice mail? Or text them?

Depends on how the lead was generated (warm, aged, or cold) a good rule is to Put 8-12 touches on each lead before changing to sms campaigns or voicemails. Reason being is because sms has high opt out rate before having convo, same with vmail Cb get number blocked. Unless voicemail is creative 👌🏽

We don’t really cold call but yes, there’s plenty of organizations who dial verified data. I like to think of it as digital door knocking ☎️ 🚪 💰
