This video was really helpful. It is the first that actually works for my hair. The ones that you can easily find for "medium hair" are actually for long hair. this works really well for me.

braiding is like a sport - you have to practise it before you're good at it. if you wan't to do pretty braids to your self, all you can do is to start practising.

I'd like to see someone do a halo braid for short thick hair. I end up with a braid four times as thick if not more :/

+Andy Glenny I agree....I am not coordinated enough either. Check JC PENNEY salons for junior stylists.....that know how to French braid. The reason I said "junior" is that the cost is usually less. Also, call private small shops.....I pay under $15 to have my hair French braided ( that's without tip )
