@@retrobeans24 oh yeah I agree with that. Even if he’s set on Mercedes, atleast wait until 2026 when he has more experience. But the thing is no matter what the fans or media thinks of him, Mercedes will back him for 3-4 years minimum, even if he struggles in the first 2 years, which he prolly will, Mercedes have the data and will back him up no matter what. He’s their verstappen and have done a lot to make sure he races at Mercedes.

I'd take Ocon over Perez from a performance point of view. He could match Verstappen like 4 times a year, instead of once like Perez. Ocon honestly doesn't crash very much and he had like, the lowest destructors damage for a couple years.But it would, in all likelihood, be a team and driver relations disaster. Max would hate it so much and maybe it could push him to leave the team. All I know is that it would be entertaining to watch.
