I whipped up the diy DC about a week ago and my hair has been softer ever since. Although I didn't strain it as recommended I found out why I should have lol. All those stringy parts of the banana were nicely sitting in my hair. After brushing them out my hair was not what I wanted it to be but I'm still happy with my hair as of now. Thanks 😁

This dc has made an incredible difference in my dry hair! It's shiny and curly and bouncy! Most of all, it's moisturized. I did alter the recipe a bit because I didn't have bananas. So, in addition to the avocados, I added 2 TBSP olive oil, 1 TBSP aloe juice, 1 TBSP vegetable glycerin, and a splash of almond milk. I'll be using this dc weekly and I'm looking forward to the long-term results! 💃🏾

I don't have any protein treatment nor do I use any special deep conditioner. I usually just put a lot of regular conditioner in my hair for hours, detangle, and wash it out. I've seen this one several times so I might try it soon,or use egg since it's more affordable. Thanks for sharing. God bless!

Brittany McLeod Yes you can buy hydrolyzed wheat protein. Hydrolyzed proteins penetrate the hair shaft. Whereas, eggs help the surface of the hair but it doesn't get into the hair shaft because the molecules are too big

@@meiviahenrietta9782 I don't think I ended up doing it with banana, but I personally wouldn't recommend doing DIYs, for anything skincare nor haircare lol. • Try using a moisture+protein based deep conditioner, and it will work amazingly.
