Yesterday I got a run with the Checkered Deck where my first two jokers were Burnt and Blueprint, in like shop 3 I also got Four Fingers and a Negative Troubadour, so I was guaranteed to hit a Flush to discard or play in every single hand, then I got Constellation and the Tribe to multiply that huge base mult By round 9 (before finding Troubadour) I got it to level 13 and by the final boss it was at level 47, pretty cool run

I think hiker was extremely valuable in this deck. Effectively added permanent +2 mult to every scored card, so typically +10 per played hand. I dont think burnt joker can pick up that amount of slack

The thing is, because of how Plasma deck works, it's +2 mult AFTER the mult gets boosted, so it's a flat +2. That really isn't as much as you think, especially in plasma deck.

@@joshuawittenberg8975 yes, but he got it to where it reliably and constantly accumulates, so while of course not growing as fast as a multiplicative multiplier, it is a good step above just a flat mult. i would have kept the hiker as the only flat mult and then aimed to gain as much multiplicative mult as possible

​@@Gigaguentherbut it doesn't synergize with the multiplicative mult, since it only becomes mult after the combination. flat mult that gets multiplied too is much more effective

This reason above exactly. Big numbies make brain go brrr... Also planning for later to get an idea of just how strong he is and what he needs to do immediately, and if he can take options that are a slower buildup because he can afford to make the total in the short term

I enjoy Roffle’s videos and watch them frequently. I can say many many good things about him, however I must get it off my chest that the only thing I can’t stand that he does is takes vampire when it literally makes zero sense just like in this run. If he’s going for high card like he says he’s eventually building towards, selling burnt joker for a dumbass vampire that he admits isn’t going to last forever is the dumbest move. Okay I’m done whining like a little girl about something that doesn’t affect me in the slightest lol that being said, I love his videos 99% of the time. The other 1% is taking stupid ass vampire when it makes no sense 😂🤣

@@harrisonshepherd2322 You said "can". Roffle absolutely destroys almost the entire population in Balatro, he's gone Gold Stake with every deck. Also it's not entirely deterministic, only the first few shops were. There were so many different pivots and different flex points he could've taken. Also you genuinely come off as a very annoying person, just FYI.

You buy vouchers too early and ruin econ, waste/hold joker slots for no reason, and don't understand +mult/xmult/chips ratios. Lucky with that invis joker you held for so long. Terrible plays on an incredibly easy seed

There is no +Mult/xMult/Chips ratio on Plasma. It's just as much xMult as you can get.
