divine things during my day: the zoo had a Binturong which is my husbands favorite zoo animal. It smells like buttered popcorn 🍿. Lol! Second, they were doing a skink presentation 😂 my grandmas vested enemy when she was alive! It made me smile. Third, I was not a special guest or anything at the restaurant. They took it upon themselves to tell me history about the mansion, because it is SO Tyler & I. We love antiques, and old buildings! They gave me a signed history book and I started crying. I felt Tyler right there with me! And then they gave me a special 1 person version of their dessert board complimentary. I have never had a better experience at a restaurant in my life and I’m coming from Las Vegas- the customer service capital! Lastly, the second I left the fireworks started. I saw the whole show. ❤ I feel divinely guided and loved ❤

I am so overjoyed for you!! ❤ If you come to visit Houston, take a short drive to Galveston. At Moody Gardens we have the indoor pyramid of a Tropical Rainforest. You would love it!! There is a hotel on sight for reservations. The restaurant you had dinner at looked historically enchanting! Your were truly blessed and what divine timing of it all!!❤

I’m genuinely wanting to come to Texas. Is there a good month of the year, or is the weather comparable to Las Vegas regardless? It’s 100+ here but dry heat every day ❤

What’s the difference between “Environmental Management” and “Environmental Science” vs “Environmental Studies”? Is it more of a business sort of thing vs pure science? All of the Environmental degrees I’m familiar with are “Environmental Science” or “Environmental Engineering”

I was the last class to graduate as environmental management for my university and they have changed it to environmental health and safety. There was a low graduation rate so they made it more regulation heavy it seems for the safety aspect, not sure. But essentially my degree is environmental science & then I got my minor in biology. They have a biotechnology degree and that’s more business related I would say as in what technologies we have, and how to implement them in the modern world. My degree is heavy on science - ecosystems, atmospheric chemistry, pollution, watersheds, endangered species, government agencies, state responsibilities, and regulations. I could be a GS employee at USDA, EPA, OSHA, APHIS, and so on. I could be apart of an independent science agency, and I could also work at a national park or zoo. Or become a professor (I don’t like teaching😅) ,And then of course I can publish my own works like my bird guide. I could also contribute by writing an academic article, or case study and submitting it to the public. I will admit that the 1 thing my degree did not cover much is botany. Thats why now I have so many plants & weeds to learn from lol! My expertise is birds, and then Przewalski’s Horse. Tbh my dream would be to find something new about Przewalski’s Horse and have it be recorded. Rambling on now but I hope this makes sense. X

@@peachyymaddiMakes total sense! You really should do a video on your degree! I’d love to learn which classes you took, and what you learned from each of them! Which were your favorites, etc! As a fellow woman in STEM (Software), I think it’d be great to use your platform to inspire the next generation of female STEM professionals.
