I love the British version with Mary--this doesn't compare. Actually, the new team on the British one doesn't campare to the Paul/Mary team. Something missing.

Why, why why why why. i love the Great British baking show. I watched a tiny bit of this in horror.....leave perfect alone....Simple sweet and British....thats why we love it....it isnt Americanized...And Paul.....???? really. I feel like someone just shat on my dreams.

The hosts fall flat. There’s no genuine humor or engagement with the contestants. There is some esprit de corps between the contestants but not to the degree that you see on the British version. And the the hosts are not engaging or funny. OMG the American judge?! So much saccharine. And can you spell gastric bypass? She’s hired a stylist. Good. She lacks Mary Berry’s know how and Prue Leeth’s interest and enthusiasm. It’s an insult to the name of the show. I hope Paul Hollywood is laughing all the way to the bank, without him it’s a disaster.
