I had the black with yellow hands and numbers model. Pretty good disposable watch. Super lightweight and the day-date is impressive at the price-point. In a box now because i realized how much I need a backlight in my outdoors activities. I have both in the houshold, my MRW has been to hell and back. My 6 year old wears a MRW most of the time due to it being blue (boys will be boys) but the LRW does fit him much better.

Perhaps my experience over the years with Casio giving us so much watch for so little money I now imagine they can do anything for next to nothing. Is lume really that expensive? My low cost Seiko 5 has bright, long lasting lume. Added cost would be less than a dollar a watch is my best guess. I even looked into adding lume myself with a watch paint sold on Amazon. Add long lasting lume, bump the price up 1$ and it would be a fantastic bargain.

Sadly, it costs about the same amount of money for a week in Blackpool as it does for a package holiday to Spain (add in the cost of travel from Scotland), biggest difference is you're more likely to get the sun in Spain and the booze is cheaper... If you weigh that up, Spain wins... also, I always found you ended up in the same B&B as the neighbours you were trying to get away from in Blackpool. I hear Blackpool is the swinging capital of the UK though, so if that's your thing... lol.

Bought a black band/case white face (which I think looks incredible) after viewing this video. Out of 15 watches, it has become my favorite EDC watch. I wear it in the shower, sleep in it & even wear it in the hot tub. I love how casio watches have 4 simple screws to remove to take the back off for a battery change. No more watches for me that require a press to get the back on. I use the bezel for cooking things in the oven sometimes. I feel naked without it on anymore. Incredible value for the money!

I have 2 of these, both Black, but one with a red bezel. Both of mine are solar powered and they are great. I actually fitted a olive drab Nato on the black one and a black Nato on the black and red one. I actually think the more subdued versions are great field watches. Simple, very rugged and very legible. I have the one for about 3 years and the other going about 6 or seven years. Will you please have a look at the Orient Defender. I love your videos. Makes perfect sense as a holiday watch. Looks good, it's water resistant and great for the beach, can take a beating, and cheap enough that it won't hurt if you get too drunk and somehow lose it.

A couple months back, Amazon listed the one with black dial and dots for $11 USD. Of course, I had to buy. And it tuns out to be a really nice, practical, durable knock around watch that looks like a downscale MDV106 Duro Marlin, another Casio I own but have never really warmed up to. The MRW200, however, has been on my wrist most of the time since I got it. I almost bought the purple(blue?)/yellow one about a year ago, but I decided against it since they don't seem to be as widely distributed in the US, and can cost twice as much as the black band/case one. I like the color, but I didn't realize the band has a glossy texture rather than the satin that the black ones have. I think I might have been disappointed with that feature.

I bought watch this a few years ago. The black version with white numbers and red markers. Brill holiday watch to throw around and not be bothered I just seen this video lol. I made the choice myself based on value for money and the fact it has a bezel Great choice

I'm sold - thank you! Now to log on to the Amazon boutique.... hope I don't have to buy any other watches first before my order is accepted.

A true holiday watch! A while back I saw a comment on another watch video where a guy was doing some remote travel through various African countries as his holiday & called Rolex to see if they thought it would be ok to wear his subby. Of course they said yes & he was subsequently relieved of it, you could have saved him with this Jody!! 😂

You might find a cheaper analog watch but not with a miyota movement. I have one that is four years old and on its second battery and band. I can't break it, so its replacement mrw 200 sits on my dresser.

Great value for sure. Good for going into questionable areas on vacation. I did not know you could get an analog watch for 20 US dollars that tells you the date and day also.

Bought the black and gold one and it looked way more expensive than what I got it for. Unfortunately I only owned it for a couple of hours cos it felt small on my wrist perhaps the MRW210 would've been more ideal. There's also a chrono style one (MRW400) for those interested.

I have one mrw-s300h look like the same as this mrw-200h but plus solar powered. 5 year now change cheap strap 1 time full of scratch throw near the window and forget it and still ticking no problem. look like they discontinue it.

My first watch was the ana Digi version of this. I can only find it new in a weird tan colour. Got it when I was 9, I'm 18 now and I'm only now starting to wear other watches. This channel helps for finding entry though ;)

Thanks for one more great video. Honestly I do prefer the old position of your camera... The kinda of "open space perspective" was giving me warmer feelings. Imho of course. Ciao ciao
