@@TehCookieLoopIf you think about it, with mobile graphical limitations, a need to cater to more casual markets (though I know NieR Reincarnation can feel like a job to play lol), and other such limitations... the soundtrack is one of those places that doesn't have to be toned down for a mobile game. Or thinking about it another way: A memorable and good soundtrack is one way for a mobile gacha game to make itself stand out without having to do anything extensive with the gameplay itself.

Honestly, music can make or break a game. A terrible game can seem great just because the soundtrack is amazing. Or a great game can seem awful if the music is bad. I've always paid special attention to the soundtracks of games and movies, and NieR is no exception. I know little to nothing about this game, but the music has been great as far as I've heard.

@@Tise2033 By 2053 there's no Legion around, the last Red Eye died in Jerusalem, 2030. During the Drama CD, because of the japanese goverment was looking for more millitary power, they preserved a Red Eye body and it went berserk, Original Kainé and Emil defeated him in 2050.

Hope they keep some version of this around after the game closes. I dont think they'd discard NieR 3 that easily. At least keep the main quest and the dark stories in some playable form and do away with the rest.

In the year 6320 A.D., the human military put a new weapon, the Dragon, into actual battle. The story of some of those dragons who were transferred to another world due to a great disaster is drakengard. Noel's story in NieR Reincarnation is the origin of drakengard.

The weapon dragon seems to have been created based on the information from Noel. (This is the official announcement of NieR Re[in]carnation so far. Details of the new weapon dragon have not been revealed.) On the other hand, the Drakengard novels contain the following description For thousands of years, dragons such as Michael, Angel, and Regna have been fighting an "enemy" that could fill the earth. These "enemies" had weapons that could attack flying dragons. One day, however, the battle, which seemed to last forever, came to an end. The countless "enemies" disappeared with a white light. After the white light disappeared, countless numbers of humans appeared before the eyes of Michael and his men. Finally, here is a quote from Drakengard's chronology In 856 A.D. It's prob just season 2 for automata anime which will likely tie into Reincarnation they were supposed to be connected if I remember right. Also Yoko said multiple times in interviews Reincarnation is a mainline NieR, as much as Replicant and Automata
