I have a black Jinhao 80 with a Lamy 1.1 nib. I use it with Lamy turquoise bottled ink . It's my daily carry . I love the hinged clip on the Jinhao 80 which will easily slip over the thick pocket of my tweed jacket. I love the Jinhao 80

It's definitely a great pen! I've been looking to buy myself a Lamy stub nib, but I haven't pulled the trigger for it yet. Thanks for dropping a comment!
Theres no shame in having an inexpensive notebook as long as it does the job & doesnt distract from the writing, 9 years in the hobby & i dont use Tomoe River or Rhodia hardly at all, aint nobody need time for that.

Yeah, I own some rhodia and tomoe river paper, I just don't usually use it. I like my cheap paper a lot, I didn't mean to sound embarrassed about it cuz I'm not, I was just pointing out what I was writing on. You're totally right tho, as long as it works for your purposes who cares what you're using. Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment!

Lol same. It's not something I see crossing over often. I was planning on doing an ink exploration video where I match inks to manga series and using some quotes from them to do writing samples. if you have any manga or quotes you'd think are good let me know and I'll see if I can use them. Right now the two inks I haven't matched to anything are writers blood and ancient copper
