I have an Antique .32 caliber pen. It writes and is a one shot item. Looks good in your pocket. It was made in the late 30's. It was carried by my Grandfather.

@@Gh3ttoboy THEIR rounds are $4 apiece if the shooter looks around for a minute. I'm not entirely sure where or why KZread gun people feel compelled to spend $10 on a plain .50 BMG FMJ. At that price point I'd expect it to be incendiary or A/P. The big box store a mile from me which is infamous for overcharging is having a sale on all ammo now. PMC .50 cal is 10 for $40. SGAmmo sells 150 count packs for $418 which is $2.75 a pop. That's dirt cheap considering our post-Covid prices are still wonky.
Of all the tiny things to shoot, there was no tiny eggplant. Should’ve just painted an egg purple, tape a leaf on it, and call it “egg-plant”. Great vid as always Scott!

Show the semi auto mini pen you shot the truck up in the intro LOL! That wee gun is an interesting concept...can't really think where it would actually be useful though. ...and yes I know it wasn't a semi auto in the intro.
In my 5 years as a Gov. Contractor in Afghanistan, I came across a stash of old pen guns that were made in the Legendary Darra, Pakistan.. Much more sleeker than the one you show. .25 caliber. They work great!
This is easily my new favorite youtube channel. This is great. The furby on the Russian 4 Gauge and the Stretch Armstrong in this video are hands down the best targets of all time.
His treatment of those poor tables gets me every time 😅

I always wondered where those call of duty developers get their ideas for "finishing moves". They watch this grown man mistreat tables and laugh like a maniac.
I think the percentage of accidental self inflicted wounds would be WAAAAYYY higher than any successful defensive wounds to somebody else.

This implement is not a weapon to wield like some brave warrior showing up to clean house. This weapon has a more tactical implementation, the element of subtlety and surprise, the use of it when the perp least expects a pen to knock a 40gr pill into his eye.

This is one of those weapons that falls into the category of "functionally ineffective yet I would NOT like to be shot with it". Pretty sure you could reliably hurt someone with that, but there isnt much point of having a one-shot-stop weapon that isnt powerful enough to stop anything.

I donno, the hollow point went pretty far into the ballistic gel. Aimed at the head or heart region at point blank, I reckon it would be lethal.

Yeah, we learned a while back how strong a 'Stretch Armstrong' is against bullets. I'm still saying that bullet proof vests should have a layer of the material that 'Stretch Armstrong' is made out of, it's pretty strong.

All joking aside, it's surprising that it actuall stops a bullet, in many cases better than store bought armor. Now to figure out how to make a vest out of that material that doesn't get melty in the heat (it's 110º F in West Texas) and turns the vest into a ponch at the stomach area (makes person look like a cartoon fat person).

2:51, I wasn't paying attention and that gave me flashbacks to the 50 cal incident
Those pen pistols showed up at one of my favorite gun stores back around 1985 or so. They came chambered in .22LR or .25 ACP, and sold for around $100. I couldn't think of a good reason to buy one, so I didn't. Couple days ago, I saw one offered for sale online for just north of $4,000. Gotta jump into the old time machine, go back, and buy about 10 of them! Surprisingly accurate point-and-shooter. Cheers.

Wonder why the pen gun wasn`t out lawed ,they have been available in the U.S. ever since I can remember.
Perhaps the heavier bullet (the round nose) had less penetration due to the super short barrel, where the lighter bullet was able to get more velocity
