My mother just passed away today and this song just tugs my heartstrings. To give you the full story, I'm actually a Filipino born in Japan; but in 2004 my family moved here to the Philippines which is why I don't remember my experience from this country (I was 2 years old at the time.) Ever since then, my mom would always tell these stories about when we used to live there and that maybe someday we'll revisit it. ( She's a japanese speaker and accustomed to the culture.) So I always thought that maybe when I visit Japan, I'll have my mom as my tour guide and it'll be a pleasant memory. Unfortunately, she passed away this week and this song just resonates with a fond memory that seems so out of reach. I've started listening to some of the peggies' songs ever since I got back into watching anime this quarantine. I mostly recognize their songs from Bunny Girl Senpai and Rent A Girlfriend. But I think I feel okay now. Rest in Peace, Mom. 💕 EDIT: It’s gonna be a month since her death and I wanted to thank all those who liked my comment and paid respects. I’m happy where I am now and I’ll continue to honor her memory. Btw, for those wondering, my Mom’s also a Filipino, just to clarify. Again, thank you so much to all of you for taking a chance to know my story. All of you played a role in helping me cope with my loss. ❤️

I may also add that I am from Asia as well and multiple times that they thought I was a Japanese due to my looks. I just don't know if you are from the outside of Asia but I bet wherever a person may be, they are kind to them as well IF they are also respectful. You get what you give.

コード進行が好きだな。 最後のサビだけF→Gと進行していて加速感を感じます。まさに花火のような儚さです。

夏が終わって秋に変わってくときの喪失感に似た、美しくて切ない曲だと思いました。 特に北澤さんが語りかけてくる「ねぇ」がとても自然で、それが曲をさらに魅力的なものにしていると思いました。 そして、個人的には 2:56 に手すりに手をかけている北澤さんと 3:07 で電車に乗っているときの北澤さんが可愛くて好きです。

I can’t wait till this band becomes ultra famous their already gaining so much fame so quickly, much love from America. This is one of my favourite songs. This band needs more recognition.

Peggies' overall aesthetics and tune reminds me of the 1990's-2010's era. And this music video fit so well. Nothing crazy, nothing too complex... just really something to look at. Still, I don't know a lick of japanese, but they sound great.
