I met you yesterday, and I would just like to give you my thanks for being so kind and taking a photo with me. Meeting you was delightful and it will be a bigger memory in the timeline of my road trip.
I didn't know there was so much cool stuff in South Dakota.
What a great town 😮 20:00 it's a lion 😂. And the dance called Lion Dance 😊
9:08 I think that's the Geico Gecko since Geico likes to promote that they offer motorcycle insurance. I think they use "Up The Country" for one campaign
Will repeat again, thank you for honesty and being who you are with a lot of eyes on you, you make all your youtube fans day, watched you from your humble days and very glad to see you where you are now, thanks.
I have made pressed dimes by putting them in a penny presser. The dime will fit in the penny slot. I did it all the time as a kid just to be different. I had (still have, maybe) a very large collection of pressed coins that I have collected since childhood
You're my favorite KZreadr ever and inspired me to make videos thank you so much carpetbagger
That was the creepiest Zoltar that I've ever seen, principally because his one eye moved and his other didn't. Most disconcerting.
I LOVE The Model Train Layout At The Casino! At The Steam Locomotive At The Mueseum! AND The Kiddie Train Yesterday! MAN I Love Trains! 🚂 All Aboard The Carpetbagger Express! #Carpetbagger #ChooChoo
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the awesome work and safe travels
Seeing you and zoltar made me think of a video montage of just all your zoltar footage with sound
I picture Jen driving a Harley and Jake in his sidecar, wearing a spaceball-ian type helmet😂😂. The mental picture is amazing! Great video as always.

Good Afternoon Jacob 🙋🏽.
Always love seeing these fascinating places you explore.
Awesome pawnseum
Live to ride and see the motorcycle museum 😂
Awesome video, Jacob!!!
GREAT 👍 video showing Sturgis and Deadwood, South Dakota! Very Enjoyable!
Yeah i remember seeing the Pawnseum in a previous video and was wondering what was that. Thanks for showing us.
Great video watching you from Cathlamet, WA.
Those motorcycles had some pretty awesome art on them. ❤
Hi Jacob I just love places like the town of deadwood something for all super great fun.. I have really enjoyed all of this wonderful day out I will be watching this again for sure..!!! I hope you are all good XXXX
I never really thought about Deadwood being a tourist town, but it certainly looks that way. My grandparents attended the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, and might have seen those carvings. I can't say for sure if they did, but they might have.
10:29 love the tye dyed motorcycle 😸 11:05 the designs on this bike remind me of tattoo art My first husband had a chopper motorcycle. At 20 I loved riding on it, but taking corners was a little scary sometimes 🫣
I think the "random giant frog" was Martin, the Gieco Gecko. Jusguess'n
You were there during the three wheeler rally in Deadwood…10th anniversary this year. Sturgis motorcycle rally brings a small crowd of 750,000 to over a million people to town in August. Other rally’s come to the Black Hills too-corvette, mustang, etc.
We here in New Hampshire have our famous biker week in Laconia up at Weirs beach every Father’s Day weekend; come check that out one year, Jacob
Love this region of the country
Thank you
14:00 I bet that guy really wished that hadn't been on video lol
21:55 when I saw these shoes I was amazed they had platform shoes back then, until Jacob mentioned the brothel closed in 1970; then I thought "Ah, that explains it!" 😂

Morning Jacob 🤓📸 like museum as always, get your motorcycle running headed on the highway, looking for adventures, what ever come our way. lol that's nice you went to the motorcycle museum. Awesome 👍. Have fun.
I just love you and jen you make me happy everyday. I live in Boston in a hotel waiting for housing. You two make everything happy for me. I wanted you to know. I watch all your videos. Thank you with all my heart
Just love your videos. If I wasn't a single mom i would love to do what you do. I have lupus like Jen too so that makes long trips harder, but still my dream job. Keep up the good work 😊 P.S. I collect pressed pennies too ☺️
The Franklin is so cool I stayed there last spring
This Sunday is Bastille Day, aka the French Revolution. A LOT of motorcycles go to Sturgis for events. Hope you have a great day Jacob! 😁😁
Good morning Jacob
The banner with the Totalisaurus and Deborah MacGuiness is a reference to the extremely popular video game, Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s the best open world video game ever, in my opinion.
There is currently a fully functional mini Zoltar machine for sale and you can see the product on many Tube videos. Perfect for your bunker.

@silverghostcat1924 The one I am seeing around costs quite a bit more. It has the same features as a full-size one, lights, actual voice, ticket dispenser and authentic look. I admit to being tempted but decided to pass on it.
Thank uou
saw a pressed quarter machine at disney world!
Super spooky skeleton 💀 my favorite catch phrase
I was born and raised in South Dakota. I graduated from Sturgis High School! When my mother was young, she and her family lived in Tinton, South Dakota. Potato Creek Johnny also lived there at the time also lived there at the time, and was friends with the family. He signed my mom’s autograph book. When he found the gold nugget shaped like a boot, my grandfather took him to town (Deadwood) to the assayer’s office. In the 70’s, when all the brothels were forced to forced to close, one of them, Pam’s Purple Door, had an auction and my mother and I went to it. (There is an auction poster on the wall next to the door in your video.) They sold everything- beds, linens, furniture, and knickknacks, etc. My mother bought a little doll figurine just for fun.
Great video Jacob! Sure hope you stop by Monterey California and check out that Treasure Hunt Sally dark ride while youre there, keep up the awesomeness!
Iv Been to Hot Springs South Dakota, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Blackhills, Wall Drug, have family that lives in HotSprings SD, but DEADWOOD SD IS MY other dream place to go, beside Graceland and The Miami Dolphins Stadium
Pretty sure that frog is the Geico Gecko.
"John Perrett was panning in Potato Creek when he found a leg-shaped gold nugget. The nugget was reportedly the largest piece of gold ever found in the Black Hills."
I wish I knew you were here! love your channel. I live in Rapid and work at a Funeral Home in Sturgis, I would have loved to give you a tour!
Sturgis Motorcycle rally=An ep on the Simpson's I have no option on Motorcycle,I rode a Motorcycle one in 2004 Living history FTW
Jacob I wanted to take a moment and thank you for this video. I had a chance to visit deadwood back in 2019 and seeing your video brought back some fond memories but also showed me some things I missed. I really believe shocking as it might sound that SD is a true hidden gem for summer travel. There is so much there and even in your couple of videos left alot on the table to return and see. You didn't comment but I would love to know how were the temps out there...
Had I known you were coming near my neck of the woods, I would have suggested my town of Aladdin, Wyoming as a quick stop. There's only roughly 15 people living there and the area has a coal tipple and a general store thats over 120 years old! Some tourists use it as a rest stop before going to Devil's Tower.
You should plan for Virginia City and Nevada City in Montana. Great restored old west towns with lots to see.
Very cool 😎 👍👋
Nice video
Love the Red Dead Redemption 2 reference!
WOW! I loved the pressed dimes. I have never seen that. I would love to know where there is more!
Pissed myself at Sturgis 👍
Three-wheeler!!
You’d think that the Pawn Stars would’ve had the world’s only pawnseum.
I would love to see you visit Elmira NY prison camp from the Civil War era, otherwise known as "Hellmira". Great video as always Jacob.
I love South Dakota! Too bad you didn't go to Crazy Horse this time, one of my favorite places. By the way, you'll have a blast at the California State Fair. Went to one years ago, great music lineup.
Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum has a dime press. It stamps the Lord's Prayer onto it.
Carpetbagger I love all the types of videos but I have to say the museums are mostly my favorite. Balto was the under dog of his litter. The breeder didn't like balto because he thought balto was a disgrace to his breeder. Then when balto showed everyone he was just as good as Togo and his mates it even upset the breeder more. I think they were both wonderful dogs and great breed from the breeder to bad the breeder could see past his feelings to realize balto was from his breeding experience. And been greatful to have had 2 wonderful dog's. In truth it's nice to see the under dog come out on top!!! Even nicer to see that someone eles realized this and made it happen for balto. Team Balto here.. I know others may disagree with me. But if you have been a under dog you can relate.. I did rescue for over 25 years ( until the last 1 years 1/2 because of having cancer going through 10 chemo and 43 radiation treatments. Now I'm struggling to back to normal. The road to recovery always a hard one) Yes I plan on continuing rescue as soon as i get on my feet again. I did the under dog's and death row dog's. And will again. Hugs to you and Jenny Penny both. Tell Jenny Penny I want a video soon.. I was getting used to her posting videos again and boom she stopped. Lol. More videos Jenny Penny!!!!
you should go to knotts berry farm in so cal! I miss going for the boysenberry festival
Couldn't resist "eum" could you 😂
The next time you are in Michigan Jacob near the Flint area (Clio) come on over and l will give you a ride on a motorcycle.
Carpetbagger go to the new Hatfield homeplace museum please!!!!
I live in wyoming near utah hope to see you go to lagoon and check out there interactive coaster primordial
Pawnseum is a very interesting idea, you always find cool stuff to show us. Love the hustle brother, keep it up!
The guitar that you said was Phil Collins could be Phil Collen from Def Leppard. You are righ that Phil Collins is a drummer and an amazing one at that

Gunfights kind of dull but loved all the museums and Deadwood itself.
I really had no idea there's so much to do in South Dakota, but after you've spent the last few days there, my interest is now piqued about it being a legit place for me to visit someday.
Hello Carpetbagger! You should contact the Genesis Book of World Records . I'm sure you have broken many records because of your travels.
One of my aunts dated someone who had a russian bike with sidecar, so I have been in a side car

Good Morning " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger..!!!
Look at how much knowledge of history you gave us in this little video. Amazing one Jacob...! I loved it as I have never been west of Detroit even. Think its time to plan a new way to go for my hubby and I ! Always go towards Florida and Smoky Mountains. I wat to become a fan and receive your postcards !
Did you see any barbed wire? 🤣
🤩
They should've had a wax figure of Chumley in there.
Jacob you and Jen really need to consider buying a motorcycle with a sidecar and drive around different states doing videos sometime
Hellooo from Gatlinburg TN Smoky mountain road 🌄🐻🏞️...When are you coming back??
Jacob today is my birthday 🎂
Universal studios Hollywood in Florida got a new parade
You have to come back to Disney world they are letting people see the new country bear show before it opens
Okay I’m just curious how many pennies and now dimes have you collected so far on you adventures?!😂
I believe all of those vehicles in deadwood were trikes
@mclarkins
23 күн бұрын
Technically a "Trike"" has 2 wheels in the back and 1 in the front. Those are called "Tadpoles," because they had 2 wheels in the front and 1 in the back. Some of them were customized though.
I wonder how they now if thats the original nugget, and how it was preserved...
Them derringers are powerful weak.
In South Dakota where are the dinosaurs at? Sue
I think you would like riding on a motorcycle. They are not that scary. I love motorcycles. I grew up with a bunch of bikers and dated a guy who had a motorcycle he taught me how to ride. I also raced dirt bikes for like 3 years.
Great video ❤
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
They are trikes
Their was a guitar outside the motorcycle museum. Did you capture that? Looks like Dimebag tribute
Another awesome video, Jacob. Have a wonderful day. My friend and as always safe travels.
