The Pavan TP-30 Spanish Classical Guitar Overview
The Pavan TP-30 is our top tier recital quality guitar. The Pavan TP-30 is made of solid high quality woods featuring both a spruce or cedar soundboard. With a soundboard that is further refined and specially thickness'd, this guitar is what I was striving for when starting Pavan. To be able to offer an exceptional recital quality guitar at an honest and accessible price to serious guitar players who were searching for an alternative to my handmade guitars. As a life long guitar performer, teacher, and luthier I truly believe that this guitar is top notch, and will satisfy 99.9% of guitarist.

I've had the Pavan TP-30 for almost 20 years - glad to see Tom is still selling these! Wonderful guitar - if you can afford a bit more definitely go with the TP-30!
I have the Pavan TP-30 Cedar! The guitar exceeds my expectation and is a joy to play. I find that it is truly more nuanced than my previous Cordoba C7, especially when playing a piece such as Capricho Arabe. My instructor who received his Ph.D and Masters in Classical Performance recommended your line to a student of his!
Hi Tom, Great introduction. You may recall we spoke back in March about this guitar and reflected on our age .. 😆 😆. I am truly loving my guitar I purchased in 2004 from you and am pleased that it was and is an investment that is realized having more than doubled in value.. I have a cedar TP-30. It is everything Tom says it is. Finish is flawless and sound is incredible. I'm really glad I didn't buy something else.

Does anyoneout there in YT land know whether the TP-30 neck wood is Honduran mahogany, or from somewhere else?
It appears to be a lovely instrument. I am curious about the finish and the thickness of the layers. I am assuming is polyurethane (judging from the looks in the video). Thank you!
