the thing that puts Kane above the rest is his footwork. everyone else looked clumsy no matter how nice the stick handling was, Kane always knew exactly where to skate

his skating is super underrated. one of the things Bobby Hull and Scotty Bowman used to specifically praise him for is his ability to skate perfectly and at full speed while doing complicated stickhandling. Bobby Hull said Kane was the best at it he'd ever seen.

Amazing how Kane/Hughes manage to not let their skates run into any pucks in the process

@@DontToewsMe19 he has but i am guessing this was shot before this past season. he's had NYR gloves in the rehab vids and has Hawks gloves here. plus however well he's moving, he ain't doing any extra non-rehab stuff like this again for a while.

hate to give sad news but that indicates when this was likely shot. probably even before last season. in recent rehab stickhandling/shooting vids, Kane is rocking the Rangers gloves.

@shreksswamp1182 lmfao homie, Kane almost skated less than EVERYONE else. Going slow using edges is his technique, Jack skated more than anyone else in the entire fucking drill. Hence lifting his feet/heels to avoid pucks towards the end. Shit, even Spencer Knight skated as much as Kane. The stick handling from Jack was clearly the most impressive but I'll let you enjoy your opinion buddy.

Maybe his skates lol, buddy stick handled, flipped the puck over another puck, and was going crazy. Then went to the middle for the last 12 seconds. Kane literally started on the most spread out pile of pucks and didn’t last that long at the same speed Jack did it 😂. Give him credit, it was all in fun

Kane was just on the top line of a good team in a playoff series. And he was their best forward in the series. Even in a rehab year for him it is odd to think he'd sign onto the bottom 6 of a recent non-playoff team.

he was the Rangers best forward in the series. only one w at least 6 points who wasn't a minus. he couldn't play w Kreider and Zibanejad at all. the last two games, finally freed from them, his line dominated offensively. generated more offense by himself than any LINE on the team in those two games.

At first I thought the kane challenge would be something like how many cab drivers you can assault before getting a charge.

McDavid wishes he had half as good of mitts as Kane. Remember, McDavid practices Kane moves, Kane doesn’t practice McDavid moves. You obviously just haven’t seen enough Patrick Kane.(I’ve seen plenty of McDavid compared to Kane. He’s not in the same league He’s way below as far as the hands go)

The real Patrick Kane challenge should have been to do literally anything beneficial for the New York Rangers. Showtime came to Broadway and turned into No time. Biggest bust at the trade deadline hands down. Hope we dump him on whatever other team wants him. 10x more impressed with Vladimir Tarasenko.

Dude the Rangers just have a terrible 5v5 system, terrible development system. Organization as a whole reminds me of the new era Yankees where all they do is buy the biggest names and get lucky every here and there with a draft pick and do nothing in the big moments. They don’t build teams they build all-star lineups 😂. That’s why they got thrashed by the Devils who were put together even though so young/inexperienced.
