Hi Scab, great knife. Really interesting concept. To me it’s almost the size of a medium size golock / machete / chopper that could be carried on the belt. But with the clip point and pointy design has a Bowie style utility functionality. In the bush that could be paired up quite nicely with a small knife then you have most of your bases covered. I enjoyed your video Brother 🇺🇸 🇳🇿

Brother I agree 100%! This thing just screams at me on a whole different level I love it! The balance the weight and the thickness make it almost perfect for me as an outdoors chopper, slasher, self-defense EDC, and all around great camp knife

Awwwh, Scab .... Thank You so much for sharing this knife, the mighty Pathfinder from WTG. Unfortunately, for me, that ALL IMPORTANT handle Inner Grip of 3.75" is just too small for me to get a comfortable grip, especially when combined with the birds beak pommel. But for all of you Big Knaf luvers out there ... please enjoy (probably should just buy and rework handle to fit my hand). Thanks, Scab.

Wow! What a beautiful knife, and yes some knives that aren't flashy can still be beautiful! Also, back in the 1700s-1800s, fighting knives that were carried everyday had long blades, some bowies having 12" blades, so with proper clothing that Pathfinder could be concealed. But I have to agree with your assessment regarding the hooked pommel. Any handle that has a pronounced hook is a good idea for maintaining a grip, especially when chopping - BUT with an enlarged hook - the handle should be longer to accommodate larger hands and prevent blisters. The only modification that I can see it needing is a sharpened swedge, albeit I don't own one (YET) and don't know it's edge geometry. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Scab!!

Oh shit it let me comment. Dont know whats up with youtube it won't let me comment on most video's now but im still thumbing up and watchin them as they drop. Love this knife really wish i hadnt sat out the drop but with xmas, the new grandbaby and stockin up on firearm parts and ammo tried to sit a few WTG drops out. This really has my interest tho in a big way.

Man KZread gets on my nerves at times there's certain times I cannot respond and there's been a lot of videos I can't comment on as well. Here's the thing man I messaged back and forth with Mr Vic on Friday he said this upcoming year he is going to start making more knives per drop which will be awesome. I hate it for the guy because I know he is breaking his ass trying to get knives out but having more on the drop will definitely be a bonus

The blade shape makes me think a bit of the Prather War Bowie on steroids! The look of the edge profile is pretty nice as well.

M O N S T E R B L A D E!!!! I think that thing could cut through Space/Time. The information about the handle is SUPER important to me because I need a minimum of 4" on the inner grip or it is simply too short. I second the opinion that it needs to be made longer on the inner measurement or a lot of people are going to pass it up. Is the Hondo the same in the grip?

Outstanding tests 🙂 l will say this as far as the handle is concerned.... its exactly the same size as the wilson. I will need to side by side compare them to see what the issue is.

No issue on my you brother! It's just on a bigger hand I'll do a video on it. I almost didn't mention it because I wanted to make sure that I said it right give me a day or so I'll get a video out but there's nothing wrong with a handle for me. If anybody's got bigger hands that's my concern because it was brought up to me

I'm wondering if that thinner blade is going to help it bite deeper or hurt it by not having as much thickness to pop the strike zones apart. Either way, I'm sure the pathfinder is plenty of knife for my needs. Seems to chop pretty well in your video! Thanks for the review and reply!
