Even though I am more traditional,I enjoyed this and bought it as a Christmas gift for my niece and her husband and their children.

i'm from holland we started the passion, but this is amazing. In Holland it's not this high level. It's bad to hear that 2017 there is not an new one for you America. I hope next year it will be back.

I lost count of how many times I have see the Passion Life New Orleans, Every actor and singers did an amazing job. love the meaning this brings out..

Whos back here in 2020? I watched this when it aired on tv and years later forgot about it, and out of nowhere here in October 2020 it pops back up into my life, Jesus trully has a way of reminding us he always been with us, even when become distant he draw us back into his embracing arms with love and comfort, God bless. Love you all. Have faith, things will get better.

I remember when I first heard the song by the person who wrote it, I became really depressed because of the spirit behind it. With daughtry however, there's a different kind of spirit. I'm glad for that because now I understand it depends on the person who sings it.

One of the many reasons that I love this production of “The Passion” is the raw emotion that you can see on the characters’ faces and hear in their voices. Jencarlos’s performance of “Calling All Angels” broke my heart just a little, because he looked like he was on the verge of dissolving into tears at any second. This show is one of the most beautiful representations of raw, in-the-moment emotions, and it is a beautiful thing to behold!

I was hoping to see this repeated on TV this year so, since is isn't, I'm happy to find it here on You Tube.

2020 and it's still amazing! Just can't get enough. It's becoming my tradition.

I had never before heard of the Passion musical until a couple of days ago when I came across it on KZread. WOW! I have watched it four times now and will probably watch it many more times. I just can't seem to get enough of it! All of the cast gave outstanding performances to the point that I forgot that these were just actors. I also cried more then once. The song choices were perfect and they were able to give them a totally new perspective of them from what I originally thought before watching this. I really wish they would release this on DVD or show it on tv every year.

I cried during this. Jen puts on such a passionate, amazing performance.

Me and my three kids watched this while their mother my wife became a bad person. It gave me strength to become a better father. It's easy to believe when everything is going right in your life, but while everything was going wrong in my kids and my life I never lost faith and I understood that everything happens for a reason.

Sooooo unbelievably moving! The cast and talent is beyond exceptional! Tyler Perry, Thank you for creating this modern view without losing the true integrity. In fact, it made me feel the story better than the old style story telling of His journey. Amazing how you were able to get the deepest emotional tones. PERFECTION!

I love this so much, I’ve seen it so many times that I know all the words to all the songs, I know it’s 2 years old, but it’s still my favorite!!!

I came here after The Masked Singer because of The Rottweiler (Chris Daughtry) and The Leopard (Seal)

Having moved back to Texas recently, August 2023; and now deciding to move from city life to rural Texas at this time of year we have yet to watch The Passion New Orleans 2016 once again, while I know we will watch it again since we purchased the DVD of this marvelous production, I just fear it will be awhile before we can take time. Trying to get all our finances straightened out with the massive mortgage we are paying living in the city, we have discovered some unusual high costs we have to pay to get established in rural Texas because of that horrible Hurricane Harvey did so much damage to Louisiana and Texas so many years ago, laws had to be changed costing us more than anticipated for us. Hopefully we can get our home sold in time to make the move. We will also have to find time later to watch the Passion of Christ once again. But we will watch both Passion of New Orleans 2016 and the Passion of Christ.

I never knew this existed. I LOVE. Chris Daughtry tho. He said he originally wanted to act first even before singing. Did I miss the part where Judas kissed Jesus on the cheek? Chris was great!😁

I am in love with this version! It lifts me up every time I see it! I watched it with my daughters. Tyler Perry did a BEAUTIFUL job with this! I wish there were copies of the dvd available to buy. I could only find the cd of the songs.

This was so wonderfully and powerfully done. The live scenes, the trial before Pilate, and Mother Mary's pain when her Son dies...but after it was over, I wished for more scenes of Jesus and the apostles "outside" of New Orleans.

My road has been one of a lot of burdens, journeys away from Christ, but He was beside me the whole way. It is so nice to watch this with tears in my eyes and the love of Christ in my heart. Securely and with His ever lasting light, watching this not only touched me so deeply it made me come "home".

That was amazing. The story was beautifully told. Each song was perfectly chosen.

This has become a yearly view for myself and my students. So powerful.

Back in the bible days a carpenter was a very respected profession. So Jesus was not just a simple carpenter as Tyler put it. This just shows the mindset of today . Even now carpenters are very intelligent...they have to know math very well. Not just cutting wood.. they also design. This is the first time watching this... I've started the beginning.

This was wonderfully done everyone did a wonderful job im going to keep watching it i still struggle with my faith but i love jesus and will continue to pray

I'm glad! As a christian i encourage you to not be afraid to question your beliefs, only then will you find the truth. If you want some good reading material i would suggest lee strobel's The Case for Christ (a similar title to read of his would be the case for a creator) and CS Lewis' Mere Christianity. If you're looking for a good weekly sermon, i would recommend going to Calvary Chapel Chino Hills' website (under Media Center) and check out over 20 years' worth of amazing sermons that go in depth and into the original greek text and meaning while also discussing how the Bible can apply to us today. And, of course, i encourage you to keep praying. I hope this helped even in the slightest. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes: "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear." Have a great day and i hope you find the Truth (because there's only one).
