THE PASSION || Deer Hunting Film || 2023 Epic Hunt
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
What a HUNT ! ! I have hunted deer for over 20 years, never have I experienced events like this with an absolute bonanza of free-range animals. We hunted on foot, stalking in the beautiful mountains of NSW. Enjoy the footage, some of it is amazing!!!
This video is the combination of my three individual videos, all placed together as originally intended from a week long hunt.
I've been very fortunate to gain access in an area like this with a good mate who wishes to remain unnamed (huge thanks to him). This trip we have paired up for some EPIC buck hunting action chasing these dynamic animals in the rut.
Solo filming this type of content is a huge challenge, if you would like to additionally support me here is the link to my Patreon. You will gain early access to the video's and all are posted free of advertising. Plus this is the path if you wish for more personal engagement and to chat about gear directly.

Experiencing the fallow buck rut is something every hunter should try to do. They are amped up, croaking for dominance, stinky and keen for a fight. It's often extremely fast paced hunting of what is normally an elusive, shy animal.
The deer taken are free-range wild animals on private property. This is an experience I try to do each year as the hunting is amazing, and something unique to cherish. It's much different to the regular bulk pest control shooting I normally do for work. Understand that this is a recreational activity, and the deer are a game resource on this property.
For those interested my rifle is a fully customised Tikka T3X, chambered in 30-06. The stock is carbon fibre made by Southfort Labs in NZ (now discontinued). Blued fluted sporter barrel, and spiral fluted bolt. Scope is a Swarovski Z5 2.4-12x50mm BT, and I'm shooting handloads with 178gr Hornady ELD-X projectiles at 2830fps.

I usually go for your feral cat/pig/fox/rabbit videos but this one was something so different. Despite the fact that I've never been on a hunt, this was a beautiful video if just for the images you captured while on the hunt. You treated the actual shots so respectfully, and left me with the feeling that you're not a point and shoot and be done type. I do have a question on the colouration of the deer themselves, some with the white spots and some with the darker colouring. I am guessing it's an age thing. Thanks again, most enjoyable video and I look forward to more. G'day and good luck.
Outstanding video of a remarkable experience. Thanks for sharing this.

How good of a spot is that to hunt. The poor cattle farmer would be copping a flogging from the deer, imagine how much they would be eating him out and costing him, especially in the winter and frosts make that even worse. Great video, and the footage just amazing to see these majestic animals, , also what caliber are you using, based on the Licencing rules on public land, do you use any scent remover or callers and what do you recommend. When take Venoson out what’s your favourite cut. Again appreciate your thoughts.

Are those Red Deer ? Looks like deer you see in europe.. In the U.S. we have multiple species in the deer family... The White Tail is most common. In the west we have Black Tail , Elk & even Moose... As they're listed here it also indicates smallest to largest... The male Moose easily tips the scales at 1000 lbs & more.
