The Parting Glass folk song 🍺
Filmed back in the spring with the littlest one in my arms.
I thought this song apt for this time of year (even though I am not too fussed about new year - it is just a man-made date isn't it?). But people tend to look back and reflect on things and think about saying goodbye to people.
Anyway, I do quite enjoy visiting churchyards and looking at the gravestones and especially the plants. You do get some marvellous wild flowers in the springtime and here you can just see the cherry blossom on the trees.

Oh! Did you go? The forest is calling me too. I have not been in a while alas. This was filmed in the church near the village where I grew up in Notts. Yes definitely time for warm clothes - it has turned sooooo cold
